Here's the first update: The three starting colonists (@Wolfs Ghost, @ONIKS and @Spectre) have settled into the dark, damp cave they now call home. This has been converted into a storeroom and communal bedroom. Initial priorities were to set up a bed, a double bed and a table to eat at - I'm not a monster, after all. ![]() As the colonists find their feet, a few basic roles emerge:
Important events: An emergency message is received from a distressed baron. He's being pursued! ![]() ![]() After the colonists sprang to the baron's defence and bludgeoned the angry squirrel to death, the Imperium saw fit to demonstrate its gratitude. WolfsGhost is now considered to be a Yeoman of the Imperium, and has been granted access to a psychic amplifier. I haven't plugged him into this yet, as while it will grant useful psychic abilities, nobles are usually whingey layabouts. What do you all think? No new recruits yet, sadly. I also had some traders appear, which was unfortunate as I had nothing to sell. Equally unfortunately, they arrived just as I knocked a hole in the fridge so I could install a heater. This resulted in a tide of terriers pouring in and eating most of my rations. In any event, after that ONIKS suggested formally naming the faction and community. I went with the Salt Miners Guild, and the community is called Gallia. That brings us up to day 15 of the colony's existence, with no raids or other unpleasantness in sight. I'm sure Randy's got something up his sleeve however. I may turn the difficulty up to Rough, just to get some people killed. ![]() Overall progress: day 15. ![]() RE: Rimworld - Royalty community game? - Venkman - 02-25-2020 Add Venkman ( : RE: Rimworld - Royalty community game? - ONIKS - 02-25-2020 Quote: she's a crack shot and a socialiteThis is pretty much me!
