RE: Real Life Issue - Doc Holliday - 03-01-2020

Spent some time with him today. Shared some McDonalds at his request (I hate that stuff but I suffered through it), had a few laughs and went through some of what he's been working on. So he's doing better but I told him while I want him home, I want him well FIRST. He understands that. Thanks for the prayers and good vibes as he heals.

Dear Doc,

Your real life message came as a shock yet I am glad you shared it with us, the community. I am glad you got to spend some time with your son today and that you had some laughs together. Laughter can do a lot and even though it may not be a cure to what we hope it to be it will always be a good medicine.
Hearing you speak of you and your son having that same point of view on having him get better first before coming home must have felt good for the both of you.

We have never met yet without disclosing all that much I know we have some things in common. I wish you and your dear ones a lot of strength in this and know that I speak for a lot of us that you can always count on this community to talk to. Stay strong and allow me to end with the wise words you've mentioned before:

If you need help, ask for it. If you or someone you know or love needs help, offer it or get it for them. Don't wait...please. Nothing is so bad that life has to end over it.

He came home last night in good spirits and some new coping skills. I do hope they work. Thanks, All.

I wish i had a father like you when i was growing up man! I been through some very very close times through my life!

I am a suicide survivor thanks to my Sister, I bless your good heart man keep that love strong and it will heal!

The mind is a fragile thing and it certainly doesn't get easier as you grow older, I'm 33 i tried to take my life when i was 14 if it wasn't for love and support i wouldn't be here today much respect to you man and big love! Take it from me the battle for life is worth fighting for so you tell him that no matter what to keep fighting, keep loving and keep strong!

@Doc Holliday my dear friend, you are an angel fighting in the darkness for a great and precious cause. You are right my friend, there is nothing in life that deserves to end your life or other people's lives for it. Stay with your son, and keep watching closely and keep guarding like an angel until he becomes better. Restore self-confidence in him and he will get stronger...

My heart with you mate
