Its hard to have a hybrid like that in a cruiser, and hope to win against both, better to stick to one or the other.

To be honest, i just go for killing capships. i would usually travel with a fighter escort anyway unless i wanted to die :D (which is most of the time)

P personaly dont think the bug should be fixed, it makes the huegenot exceptional at taking out captital ships, but they are not good at killing fighters. Mabey if all cruiser could straff like this..... lol that would be crazy but not good

It most definitely SHOULD be fixed. Its unbeatable against caps and can get away from fighter easily. It would be EVERYTHING out there. It would take a FLEET to kill it.

No not really, most fghters flow by players usually do lots of damage before i get out of there or die. The lasers fire too fast for even the huegenot to dodge.
But i like the way the liberty cruiser looks, how its based of the design of the main cannon

Dab: I agree with the bug needing to be fixed. It might aswell have side thrusters on it the way it strafes. However, it should still strafe faster than your average destroyer. That would keep it unique :)
the BHG destroyer is a totally **** destroyer, but it can still take out a bs if flown wisely.
1 fighter can take me out when im in a destroyer. I feel that thats a tad unbalanced. And you cant make a Hybrid with it cause its only got 8 guns....dam. :mellow:

Yea I agree with McNeo of the HUegenot issue here. Keep it jsut a tad afster at straffing then other cruiser just to mae it feel a bit more special then the others. Just my opinion tho.

I believe the obscene strafe speed was caused when the thruster speed was corrected. It used to thrust at 90. Somehow fixing that caused the strafe speed to increase. Though it's not impervious to fast fire, and it's still quite susceptible to well armed fighters. A reduction may be in order, but it should still strafe faster than other cruisers.
