We plan to expand all over Sirius. The Bundschuh just operate in Rhineland. We are aiming for something broader.

Xenos are terrorist. We are against the Government and it's corporations. Xenos will go and attack anyone. Where as, we really won't bother you if you're a merc. We're more of political activist.
The reason we can sympathize with the Corsair, is being that they run a major smuggling ring. Pure and simple. And pretty much the only reason we support them.

If you were gonna operate all over Sirius...wouldn't you -Want- an ally like the Hessians or Bundchuh? seeing as how they could help you gain a foothold in Rheinland...

You'd leave Mercenaries alone? but you're against Corporations and Governments? Mercenaries work for Corporations and Governments....

yeah... revolutionaries tend to be with under the cluster of the OC influenced group, whether by choice or necessity.
Corsairs, as far as we know, doesn't give a damn about others or people. It's all about the Corsair nation, and screw the others, and lets ally if its profitable to us, only.

And that very may be the case. But, I would need to talk to leaders of those factions. We just haven't really run into them yet. We want to establish a firm base to prove we are worth their time. Once again the allies will probably change. This is just upfront.
Mercs can work for either side. So we can't really target them. Exception would be if they were with a convoy.

The SCRA is bent on making everything Communist. True, we wouldn't mind a communist society, we are more concerned about capitalist corporations. Which today, have more power over the governments.
Once again. Corsairs-
1) Have good weapons to start out with- easy to get our recruits into ships.
2) Smuggle and that realistically hurts corporations, but also increases negative influence in key areas.
They may only care about themselves, but we can't match the output of people and ships they can throw at us. I mean if we're supposed to be a pirating faction then it's best we ally with what comes to my mind as the outlaw/pirate house.

Corsairs are also a proud people that would rather slit your throat rather than letting you fly their beloved technologies...
It's barely if zoners can approach them to make commerce that is vital for them... mrehehe.
An alliance with OC seems more justified. They don't really care about who they ally with, as long as they can propagate their smuggling operation.
