Subject: Daumann mining operation

Following an Ageira Transport into the Weisserfeld led me to a Daumann miner filling up the cargo ship with aluminium. I tried to start a conversation about the current political situation in Rheinland and although the Ageira pilot was quite open, the Daumann pilot was beeing evasive. While I must admit that it's not often that I get the chance to converse with imperials but this seems to be a trend amongst civilians and low ranking military personnel. I digress, after the Transporter had left, the miner and I agreed to resolve things through monetary compensation. Kamerad Wagner arrived moments before the transaction was completed, just in time to accompany me back to Konstanz Wreck.

In my opinion the complacency of the Rheinland public is alarming and it is vital that we increase our efforts to inform civilias and gain their support.

Guten tag,Kamerad Klein Suess sent report from Nuremberg Border Station, Munich system.

Today I started patrolling the Munich system. Still silence covers this system, considering the current situation, this is not surprising. After docking again and refueling, I came to the Frankfurt system through the hole. I decided to go to the aluminum mine in Hausenfeld, and I heard that Daumann employed some miners there.

When I arrived, I found a miner who seemed busy with ore operations. He didn't seem to be surprised by my appearance. After observing him for a short while, we started a conversation. He expressed his thoughts about the Federation and the deformed Empire. Like most people, he preferred the Federation to the tyranny of the Empire. After a short conversation I continued my patrol, but there was nothing more worth reporting.

The following are the calls recorded by the flight recording system:

Subject: Daumann Patrol

While en route for the Jumpgate from Frankfurt to Munich, near the end of a patrol with the Tauber, we picked up a signal, seemingly belonging to a Daumann Heavy Construction vessel. I broke off and turned my ship around to investigate, it quickly turned out to be not a single craft but two bombers and I soon found myself in a dogfight with a Bergelmir while the other, a Waran, kept watch. A fight that I knew i would not win, my shields were dropped very early in the engagement by my opponents EMP Cannons and the only weapons that I had any hope of hitting her with were my pair of Energy Cannons, needless to say not a very effective strategy, so I decided to interrupt the duel in order to flee.

The two ships chased me into Munich, around the Schwarzwald Nebel and even followed me into the Dark Matter Storm surrounding Planet Bodensee. That's when I sensed an opportunity to get myself out of that mess, admittedly it was a desperate atempt, but my plan was to use the low visibility conditions to lure them into the gravitational pull of the planet. And it worked, atleast on the one that was closest. The other one, the Waran, was still in pursuit so I jumped into Sigma-15. There I had a chance to recollect myself and scan the remaining ship's weaponry, realizing that i stood a much better chance fighting that vessel. In the following brawl the trusted Rheinland Antimatter Cannon was once again able to prove itself, first taking down the enemies shield and then their hull in one shot each.
You can find the combat log in the attachments.

While I commend the opponent for honoring the duel, I must also recommend that all of our pilots put their lives and the protection of federal Rheinland above anything else.

Faithfully,
Oberleutnant Berthold Volkmar

Subject: Continued Daumann mining operations

Despite of our efforts mining operations in Weisserfeld seem to remain a profitable activity for Daumann, considering the high quantity of reports we recieve regarding that area.
Today I found a Daumann mining ship there, flying under the tag MMM, but it did not respond to my hails and while I was waiting a second Daumann vessel appeared.
This one beeing more attentive but also considerably more aggressive, cutting short our discussion about the exclusive right of mining in the area by opening fire on me.
After disposing of the attacker i pondered on what to do about the other vessel, being unsure if this was some sort of trick i decided to disable it before making my leave.

Hochachtungsvoll,
Oberleutnant Berthold Volkmar

Subject: Fight against the Imperial Military Force in Frankfut

Guten tag, Leutnant Klein Suess sent report from Nuremberg Border Station, Munich system.

This is just a daily patrol, but my Left eyelid told me that something will happen today.

When I entered the Frank system, I received intelligence that capital ships of the Imperial Army with RNC identification marks were jumping through NB jumpgate. The mission control center judged that they were very likely to attack Thuringia. I drove the bomber and go to intercept the enemy.

After getting in touch with our capital ship, I Fly towards to the jump gate. Although I was in an exposed position and the spaceborne radar had not detected the enemy, I was not worried because I thought there was only the enemy's battleship.

The situation changed quickly. I found that one very heavy fighter with the Empire logo was approaching quickly from the other side. I immediately changed course to avoid it. He caught up with me near the jumping hole in Thuringia. At this time, our Bismarck-class battleship CV-Adm.Graf .Spee enters the battlefield and the battle begins by the jumping hole.

Fortunately, the imperial military seemed to forget to carry shield batteries and maintenance robots, which made up for the lack of flexibility of the bombers, and the imperial military was shot down after Dogfight. Then I accompanied KAM|CV-Adm.Graf.Spee to chase down the enemy capital ship, but we failed to engage in another fight.

Today, whilst partoling Munich system I've stopped an independent merchant vessel, Pitbull class, registered under the name "Joe Conrad", for a regular inspection. Upon inspection, it turned out that it's cargo was filled to the brim well... this. Please refer to the picture below:

Despite knowing that artifact trade is forbidden by the Federal Law, I've decided to let the freelancer continue his journey after he agreed to provide a sample, and extensive information regarding his delivery contact on Planet New Berlin.

Apparently, there's a smuggling ring operating freely to and from the Imperial capital, and this freelancer knows how to reach them. I believe this information might prove usefull to our cause to either discredit Imperial leadership by exposing said ring, or establishing contact with the group to use their services ourselves.

Please, refer to the audio log attached to this message.

Subject: Patrol Report.

Guten tag, Leutnant Klein Suess sent report from Fort Augsburg, Munich system.

I started today's patrol from the Bundschuh base "Eltmann Moor". After checking my pistol, buying a barrel of beer, and taking away a dozen Propaganda material, I left the base and quickly crossed the nearby jump hole into the Frankfurt system.

Unable to find a valuable target near Hausenfeld, I proceeded to the wreck area between Mainz and Mannheim, where I stopped a heavy tanker, the ship named togo belonged to Daumann.

The scanner showed that his warehouse was full of construction steel. I judged that Togo was delivering supplies to the empire and its cursed emperor, so I immediately punished they. Togo seemed hesitant at first, but when I showed determination, I received the amount.

After some time, no more ships were moving nearby. So I went to the Sigma 15 system and visited Wichter Station there. Although they were squeezed into the same system with the Imperial military, these ALGs didn't seem to want to leave here. After that I went back to the Munich system through the jumping hole.

Subject: about some zoners.

Guten tag, Leutnant Klein Suess sent report from Nuremberg Border Station, Munich system.

Today I received a message from Fort Augsburg that a zoner vessel was notified for violating our agreement with zoner. After I came to the local area, after some dialogue, I drove away the reckless captain. No matter what his purpose was, I reiterated rules between our and zoner and believed that he understood the meaning. I suggest that if our man find the freighter appeared in Munich again, should punished it in substance.

Subject: Subject of Interest & Mission Detail.

The Tauber was on usual patrol around Konstanz Border Station when a vessel under the callsign Space_Inquisitor entered the checkpoint from the Mainz tradelane. The vessel is a Rheinland military Very Heavy Fighter armed with standard military weapons but is not registered under the Federal database. Subject was ordered to halt and state intentions but proceeded to ignore orders and fire on nearby ALG and Federal assets passing by. After a few commands and no orders the subject entered the Gallic tradelane to the Sigma-15 system and proceeded to evade naval personnel and slide into the Mecklenburg Station port. Within a few minutes however he once again left port and evaded naval personnel by entering the Freeport zone of influence.

If subject is spotted and verified proceed to detain or destroy the vessel, included in this report is the ships IFF and ship register.
