It may be also worth it reaching to non-profits doing free legal counseling on the matter. I've once written complaint to one over my ISP not doing anything about my internet connection's quality. I've forgot about the fact but two months later I've got an e-mail with ton of legalese I've just forwarded to Orange and they finally got their crap together.

They get away with it by claiming that your account doesn't actually have any personal information on you aside from your email address, which apparently you can unlink from your account.
