Researcher id - reavengitair - 08-22-2009 Because their purpose is to study? Researcher id - Elsdragon - 08-22-2009 I am the king of grave digging buddy An No, Its some ID bit Researcher id - reavengitair - 08-22-2009 No, you're not the king of gravedigging I think that more people need to use the researcher ID. Researcher id - Silmathien - 08-22-2009 Quote:I think that more people need to use the researcher ID. Nice to hear that. Cause i dont wanna end up in a overpopulated crowd. I still like to be an extravagant/unique type of player.:) ' Wrote:Because their purpose is to study? Ah, my good sir. Not everybody just study with their eyes. And still u need a base that let you study ur benefits (almost logically in the same place you get those things and why some pirat wouldnt want you not do research in their base? It's still their base, but not their personal lab). At the moment u have to get to lawful bases with illegal goods onboard and i guess there is more than a 50% Chance, that any House Police will catch you within range of their territory. But okay, i guess i know what it is ment to be by research id in that Rp, so i wont complain about that any longer.:P Just one more Question: Can Artefacts be 'mined' somewhere? Researcher id - reavengitair - 08-22-2009 Well seriously. The zoners. They are everywhere. Just use those places. They probably all have labs. Quote:Just one more Question: Can Artefacts be 'mined' somewhere? Yes, ***SPOILER WARNING*** Omicron Gamma Researcher id - Elsdragon - 08-22-2009 Biatch , I grave dug the most, and the oldest threads, I AM THE CHIEF NECROMANTIC DRAGON! ANd Yes, You CAN mine artifacts DOsent MEan you can LEGALY transport them Researcher id - reavengitair - 08-22-2009 Quote:DOsent MEan you can LEGALY transport them If you are a hogosha... Researcher id - Canadianguy - 08-22-2009 Yes the Researcher ID is too restrictive for its own good. Here is my idea of changes. Pilot carrying this ID is a Researcher, who : Can only trade in artifacts, alien organisms, Gaian wildlife, counterfeit software, cardamine, quantum multiplexors, bio-neural processors, nano-capacitors, scientists and nomad remains. Researcher have much more other things they should be able to have in their hold, like minerals, spaceship crew, h-fuel, etc to able thos who wants to RP totally by filling their hold with stuff like that to be OK. I would personnally remove this and put a cargo limit instead. Cannot fulfill bounty contracts Cannot escort anyone Cannot ally with anyone Cannot attack anyone at all except in self defense I totally agree but they should be able to ally each other. Cannot land on any unlawful bases except for Junker or Order bases As long as smuggling between Junker bases stay impossible or not profitable A Researcher using the Kusari Explorer or the Zoner Gunboat cannot use any gunboat weapons, but may use level 5 turrets (or less). Allowed ships: Freighters, Transports, Liners, Kusari Explorer and Zoner Gunboat(without gunboat weapons), Spatial Zoner GB is totally correct for that situation due to the fact its neutral, which is a problem with the Kusari Explorer since its from Kusari. Also, to keep it from become used to powertrade, able only transports of 4300 or less except with special RP permission. It ables to get all liners and the only ships it unable are ship reserved only for trading. Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime. The Researcher ID does not make you immune to piracy or being fined by lawfuls; pirates and lawfuls may choose at their discretion whether to exempt you. |
