Can i make a suggestion:
is it possible to edit the skins of ships on this new game when it comes out to custom skins that everyone sees or is that impossible at the moment?
sorry but i cant help with any of the making of it cause i dont know anything about programming and stuff like that :(

reskinning would be really cool for all the different factions. Each faction could have their own color scheme.

I highly doubt EITHER of you have played EVE...
You don't need to re-skin and every faction has their OWN ships and their own style. Not to mention the T2 of some ships are re-skinned and re-fitted anyway.*
