Large ventiliation shafts were installed at several keypoints for control and assessment, noted as 'filter rooms'. Backup filtration systems are available upon emergency situations. Upon failure of the main system, the emergency filtration systems may be unlocked and utilized as the temporary filtration system, however, these systems are time limited to four weeks at maximum oxygen capacity, and cannot provide for more than 4 rooms. There are currently 4 auxiliary filtration systems in place in the event of ship failure or destruction, permitting time for rescue teams to find survivors.
