RE: Player Owned Base Model Feedback - Major. - 02-10-2021 Love you <3 Thanks for this awesome models! It was a slight oversight as the prices were more expensive when we were discussing it. We've discussed expanding lower core models for use at higher cores if there are some that people really like (I'm partial to a few myself) and lowering others like the Freeport, so I think this is a possibility. So the way the system is set up, you have the option to "carry forward" costs as you upgrade your base. For example, if you bought a model at each core level (1-4), you'd end up paying the price for the core 4 model in total. Or if you purchase a core 2 model you like, don't like anything at core 3, but do want to purchase a core 4, you would pay the difference between the core 2 and core 4 model cost when you get there. RE: Player Owned Base Model Feedback - Sava - 02-10-2021 It would be really great to be able to use those lower core models for higher core bases RE: Player Owned Base Model Feedback - Alvin - 02-10-2021 Loving this, tired of all the existing standard pob model. How would this work along side the Sci Data reward POB model for 2,500 sci data ? Should this thread be considered as a fixed model, whilst the 2,500 as unique tailored model ? I think 2,500 Sci data goes for the unique special design Something probably like Isle of Skye / New London or Nicholas Trade Center / at the Omicrons I am not very sure and a Game Master can guide us better about the answer to this question @Developers and @GameMasters How about the unique designs ... ? Is there some unique designs list with images too or they are shown upon request for one? or maybe those shown above are the only available ones? RE: Player Owned Base Model Feedback - Zentor - 02-10-2021 Yesss! This is good. No more bland bases. Currently this is only for Core 1-4, but we can discuss specific incorporation with Core 5 bases, although as a matter of POB population, there are very few. You can request a custom POB model for a Core 4 for 2500 Sci-Data, but this will hopefully provide a desirable, usable, less expensive, and immediately implementable alternative though not as customizable. We can also look into expanding options over time if there's interest. RE: Player Owned Base Model Feedback - SnakThree - 02-10-2021 My suggestion: Make all custom POB models available through all levels but charge it at 200 SciData/600M per level during upgrades on when getting it. So there's still moneysink based on level but also free choice which one to get and keep if required. So Core 4 POB with Depot model would still cost maximum.
