A nice idea but I can't see them being used, at least not at those stats. Afterall, a weapons platform doesn't say much, it can't move much, and is worthless in combat.

Considering that I saw the weapons platforms very nearly kill the first ship in the charge and the Behemoth, I'd say they brought about some bad memories.
