Hello - thank you for your feedback, you are probably referring to the fight in Cortez just now.
All other(two) Corse ships came mid fierce fight, defended allies on snubcraft and dropped 3+ lines, you are probably referring to myself that arrived at the scene first.

Just to explain a little bit why we have to mention money and bounties - Outcasts are Corse's archenemy due to Cardamine being an existential threat to Corse's own drug - Nox. Nox is very potent, but not physiologically addictive. Corse wants to ideally end Outcasts and Cardamine in all Sirius so their "gear" can become the main drug of choice.

Outside of Gallia the Corse self-centered secretive mafia operates under the guise of run-off the mill contractors, working to support and aid the causes of factions that hire them against the Outcasts and Cardamine related factions like Nomads and Rogues. So even though in reality the Outcast war and targetting are entirely because of Corse's self-serving aim to replace Cardamine with Nox (Discovery logic of cocaine-like drug even competing with strong magic mushroom or psylocibin with a benzo like substance aside), when it comes to engagement lines we kindof have to inform you that we are being hired and pretend we do it for the money and our benefactors when it comes to attack lines - at least the first ship at the scene - even though we are just using them for resources and to fight our war, and are ready to kill even closest allies like them when nobody will find out (i.e. when they agree to not go for RP consequences in far flung nebulae etc. Tongue)

Today's encounter
I will be honest with you - I just wanted a quick fun fight against our archenemies in the four capital ships in my light bomber.

The odds were insurmountable, I didn't expect other ships to come , I will not sugar coat it - I came there to shoot against impossible odds. We can roleplay more next time for sure Smile

Saluti again everyone, we are currently in the process of reworking the faction (again!), feel free to explore and enjoy what is currently available - more to come! We have also multiple events, planned roleplay with multiple factions, and even more developed lore. We would like also to remind that our main goal is to make the Corse experience enjoyable for both parties - the Corse, and the faction(s) implicated!

Please, feel free to post anything about what we have done recently, whether on the forums or in-game, so that these experience may be even of higher quality.

Cheers!

Saluti again: the Message Dump thread and its reply template, has finally been respectively overhauled and added after being in """development hell""" for months. So here it is now. I would love to receive feedback on how it is looking. Thanks for passing by. Next objective is to continue the ongoing overhaul of the Recruitment Thread.

Cheers!

Hi,

I had an encounter with one of your players.

The player got caught in Omicron Alpha by Outcasts, as they were fleeing from Theta. After being caught, several RP attempts were made to start a dialogue, but no response came back whatsoever, except for this: [02.12.2023 20:34:41] UC/-Tracii.Draco: fu
The UC ship is a transport, and after failing to reply completely, a simple demand was made to wrap things up, which got no reply whatsoever again.
Afterwards the player attempted to disconnect from the server, see the screenshots provided, I'll also share the DSAce logs below.

That's what went off in a nutshell, needless to say the way this encounter went off was rather unnecessary, if Draco's attention was needed outside of the game, like RL matters or similar, they could have just told us, and we could have waited, or come up with a different solution instead. I'm not going to jump to negative assumptions, but at least the most minimal effort should be made to reply to others.

I just had a very fun little encounter with a UC gunboat, Monte Cinto, as I was doing a little tour of all the race tracks in the game. I met the ship up in Provence, where they acted as a cross between a coast guard patrol ship and a very accommodating host. They showed me around the system, and gave me a lot of details on the area and the race course. Had some fun talks about local politics and history and what the public side of the UC is up to. Heck of a fun little encounter.

Even helped them get some data on the race course for a future thing that it sounded like he was working on.

RE: UC/- The Unione Corse - Feedback - Kherty - 06-18-2024

Hello,

I am profoundly sorry for your bad experience in roleplay. This is not common, and we will review this behavior with the aforementioned player. On behalf of the Unione Corse, I apologize and assure you that it is not always like this. We strive to be the good remaining side of Gallia. I hope you can meet UC players again without worrying about bad encounters, but I can assure you that it is not a constant issue. I assume the player did not want to be bothered, as it sometimes happens, though it is not a valid excuse at all for a subpar experience, as we strive to provide good roleplay with people. Please note that the Unione Corse is at war with the Outcasts, and we also have had our share of bad roleplay experiences with Outcasts. Unfortunately, assumptions and preconceived ideas are inevitable, and oftentimes, we simply prepare to be just /1 /2, as it is the case 9 times out of 10 (this is exaggerated, of course, but it is simply to demonstrate my point).

I am sorry again for the very late reply to your grievance, and I am sorry for your bad experience. Please do not let this prevent you from interacting with Unione Corse players. I can assure you of our desire to provide quality roleplay.

Apologies for the late reply. Thank you very much for your kind words; you're right about the kind of roleplay I was aiming to do! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I was the one flying it! I hope we will see you again there, as we are planning to do some things with the Race Track!

It was a pleasure to serve as your "guide", and Coast Guard and provide you with a peek into the unique aspects of Provence, the Unione Corse, and everything we plan to do with our beautiful system, and roleplay possibilities!

RE: UC/- The Unione Corse - Feedback - Ayakashi - 03-18-2025

I've encountered one of your ships, UC/-Revendeur, carrying Azurite Gas in Kusari in a l'Ane. After my ship, Sekiryu, stopped the ship, your member opened fire on me after a while, and did it without any engagement lines. Your ID also doesn't allow him to engage lawfuls first without pursuing a bounty.

Keep this in mind please, as an official faction. The ship shot me and ran even before I had a chance to say what I want from it.

EDIT: Misunderstanding and opinions have been sorted out with @Kherty in DMs. This matter is concluded for me.

RE: UC/- The Unione Corse - Feedback - Lemon - 03-19-2025

Oh wow, I've been a very vocal opponent of rule 1.0 that is arbitrary and had lead to folks staff dislike being targetted. But here you showed me an example where it's actually good to have a loose approach towards rules. You caught a transport that was obviously smuggling, had no chance against you and, your intent was very clear - you caught him. The ship acted as in roleplay as a smuggler can ever act by running while firing shots behind them after you already told them you can enforce laws and they RPed with you.

If the new system makes any sense, your report would be laughed at and dismissed if you filed one. That you come here to brag about your gank is hilarious too - maybe the arbitrary "common sense" approach to rules isn't so bad afterall?

RE: UC/- The Unione Corse - Feedback - Lemon - 03-19-2025

P.S. I'm not affiliated with this faction.

Quote:[18.03.2025 21:12:10] Sekiryu: That means that I can enforce the Kusari Laws
[18.03.2025 21:12:36] Sekiryu: I would suggest you to remain still and in one place.

I'm sure you were about to follow this by "Oh never-mind sir, have a nice day, I was just informing you" hah

The amount of assumptions someone can jump to over completely valid feedback is astonishing.
