It's not scrap if it's in a rock field. It's ore. Bits of element amongst other bits of element. Which the salvager isn't designed to deal with.

Also, before i forget- a quick reminder, that the ship's CM's placement doesent allow it to effectivly dodge incomming CDs, so better watch where you are going and mount a Missile turret in the back.
That reminds me, if dusty says he judges ships by shield, then a Barghest is a freighter? Or is it something, that a bomber and gunboat leave behind after enjoying a trip to a tropical island?

Nways yea , the Salvager is a lovelly lil thing. The setup i use is pulse on the front only slot , cerberus on the sides and a missile in the back. AND i actually make it shoot forward.
It replaced the PTrans for me at least. Same cargo hold , more armor and firepower.

The only thing I think the salvager needs is a cruise disruptor hardpoint. It would make the PERFECT pirating ship, and not too abusable as only junkers can use it.
Give it a CD and equip it with two razors / two pulse, and it would be the ideal ship for a pirate going after cargo from other transports.

Thing is Junkers dont pirate. Mostly at least. So its bound to atract junkers who just wanna pirate , therefore ruining the RP of an entire faction. I say keep it as it is.

Junkers dont pirate in public, but that doesnt mean we dont pirate =)
