You had a choice too I bet:
a) Make first cargo not monstrous 2500 but 100 for example.
b) Make second one not 250 but 10 for example. Done. Ez.
c) Maybe then you wouldn't have to hint peps to go **** themselves if they don't like the way event is.

a) I didn't make the Event.
b) I had no input in to the Event.
c) I adapt to any Event that I want to get involved in. The previous Event first leg allowed Freelancers to get involved and the second leg was for Zoners only. I didn't have a Zoner, so I didn't get involve in that part of the Event (my choice).
d) When there are Combat Events, which there have been a few, I have a choice to be involved or not be involved (the latter is generally my choice, as my PvP skills leave a lot to be desired).

e) I don't bemoan that a particular Event isn't to my liking. I just get involved with the ones that are more suitable to my tastes. If I don't have a ship that can be involved, I just shrug my shoulders and wait for an Event that I can be involved in.

So, it is your choice if you want to be involved or not, based on the Designer's, of the Events, parameters.

Any chance we could get a Kishiro ID temporary rights to engage pirates without being shot at first? It's really disheartening for the Kishiro ID'd escorts to be less useful than BHG/FL escorts (if registered on appropriate boards), because let's be honest, if we're at a situation where pirate is making demands in front of a transport, no amount of escort is going to save it if pirate starts blasting.

Probably not likely to happen because, Kishiro escorts can engage a pirate once the demand has been given to defend their transport at least thats how I believe it works. Anyway, the Kishiro escorts can simply fly ahead of the transport they are working with and tell them there is a pirate ahead prompting them to take a different route.

I doubt you'd get sanctioned if you shoot at a molly in kishiro escort snubs hah. Just shoot us - go for it.

Admins can add it into event notes - defending IDs can shoot attacking ones for the duration of the event

How likely are you to kill a bomber/gunboat faster than bomber/gunboat will kill a transport?

Unless major clown happens, I'd say 0%.

Fair point, but the simple solution is to go ahead of the transport and alert them of a pirate like I said. If you do get into an engagement, it may not hurt to bring a second fighter with you to be on the safe side.

Hello, haven't gotten the bounty for a Molly ID ship as a Kishiro ID ship. Kill happened in Tau-29.
