Details: Look into my eyes. What do you see? That's right, Auch is almost a winner! Almost!

After getting my ass handed to me by Gallic Brigands for a cool 0:15 dogfight record so far on my duty I have joined the Main Fleet young gun [GN]Gabriel.Cadieux and we met someone who is more up the Main Fleet streets - the Gallic Royalists. I am still getting my head around this strange enemy, our rivals are the Brigands with many former ex-police traitors - I imagine the Main Fleet feels the same about the deranged Royalist raiders that didn't join their brothers in arms in making Gallia Great, Secure and Powerful under the steady leadership of the Military.

I let the Main Fleet fighter take charge, and he has quickly ordered an attack on the Royalists and took down their bomber, Flandre. I didn't want to get inbetween the bitters rivals, just like the Gendarmes tend to insist to try to handle the Brigands themselves, and the depleted ship of Cadieux took on Chloe:Leclerc. She left victorious, but not before Cadieux depleted here vessel and damaged it heavily.

Showing Mercy to the Royalist, hoping she would maybe change her mind I offered the heavily damaged Chloe a chance to leave which she didn't take. My sparkling undamaged vessel against hers, I thought she was being crazy by not taking the offer, alas I almost lost again if it only weren't for her running into her own mine.

It's not quite my first victory on duty, but I will take and call it a success!

Scan Outcome: Sirian Bounty Hunter aided in protection of New Paris perimeter I was assigned to. A Maquisard disabled both vessels but was heavily damaged and forced to retreat.
Details: A sirian Bounty Hunter went out of his way and engaged a Maquisard that was hovering just outside of the perimeter I was tasked with protecting. He fought valliantly but was defeated eventually and my vessel was disabled also when the Maquisard vessel breached the perimeter, but it was forced to flee due to heavy damage, and New Paris and the surrounding bases are safe.

Scan Outcome: Ageira Stegodon pilot was hauling Ageira White boxes. Fine of 200,000 credits was issued and 5 units of the forbidden cargo confiscated, the maximum my patrol vessel could carry.
Details: With my long experience on the civilian police and now on the Military enlisted Gendarmerie I know when it's time to fulfill the literal meaning of law, and when it is prudent to engage leniency.

The Ageira vessel Ageira-ViciousJeff was delivering the forbidden Ageira White Boxes to Abbeville Production Facility in Picardy. Given the first offense, and the fact that the EFL was likely the recipient of the boxes anyways I have decided to forgo the §2.1 of the law that dictates to destroy said cargo, issue 10,000,000 fine and escort the vessel outside of Gallia, instead opting for a symbolic 200,000 fine and confiscation of 5 Units of the Ageira White Boxes.

Ageira-ViciousJeff was very cooperative, and I do not recommend to the addition to Smuggler and Crime Database at this time. The Cargo has been delivered to nearest Gallic Planet for study.

Scan Outcome: Bretonian battleship HMS-Quatus was spotted at Fort Albi. After several warning shots it cooperated and was escorted to Tau-31.
Details: Blimey, not sure why I was chosen, but I was called to man the crew of the GIG Ship [GN]GIGS-Commando. One of Bretonian Battleships has has been spotted in Orkney, and after a warning salvo it complied with being escorted out of the system.

Thank lord for that, after all this time on guarding New Paris and petty skirmishes and fines, a battle with a Battleship seemed like too much excitement.

Scan Outcome: Maintenance appliance belonging to the Corsairs was ruled as part of their licence for Xeno Relics it was holding and allowed to continue.
Details: These Omicronians and their technology are strange. A large Corsair convoy was passing New Paris. The Artificial Inteligence vessel EX-001 has been seen with them, also in posession of Xeno Relics the Corsairs were legally delivering to Gallic buyers.

I was about to issue a fine when the Corsairs informed me the vessel is actually a maintenance artificial intelligence vessel belonging to them, functioning as an appliance of sorts. With no precedent present I have decided to rule on the spot that appliances belonging to the licence holder may be considered their property, extension of their convoy and trading effort and therefore covered by the licence provided to said Corsairs.

A real headscratcher that was - I hope I ruled wisely.

Scan Outcome: Robbery was reported to the Main fleet, one suspect was let go due to inconclusive evidence
Details: Hard case to crack - the Cryer vessel Nietzschean pilot reported that a Junker robbed him in Zurich to a main fleet Cruiser.

I was called in to investigate. After some search I have ran into an unknown vessel, that did have Junker IFF but not identification, and some details were not checking out, even though name was.

Good ol' Corentin that I am I have then used my questioning tricks on the suspect and turns out he was not the guilty party - if he were guilty he would surely crack under my masterful cross-examination.

Blimey - Zurich system seems to be in trouble - after my last report of a Junker or maybe not a Junker we have had reports of attacks my somebody called the Unioners. We have managed to apprehend several pilots and I was ready to go to Gendarmerie HQ in Picardy - Battleship Saumur - to begin interrogation procedures when two more of their ships appears.

UN]-AssadHayden, UN]-Direktor.Hollywood Decided to assault my vessel along with the main fleet officer [GN]-Lance.Faucheux. Unfortunately, as is almost tradition I fouled up the combat, got taken down and Lance had to defeng Gallia, which he did and forced them both to flee right afterwards. What happened to those pilots is unknown, but these unioners are armed and highly dangerous - I found out first hand.

A side note - a hostile vessel, LNS-Tallahassee|Aoi was at the scene but before I could investigate the Unioners took down my ship.

Boy oh boy - do our laws need looking at! A Samura pilot actually hauled valuable ore to sell to us in Zurich, and the laws would have me do terrible things to the pilot. Well - not on my watch, the Gendarmes have the good of Gallia in mind.

The vessel was very cooperative, paid a symbolic 111,111 fine and went on to help our economy. If their own corporations will breach the so called "embargoes" to help us hey - I am all for it.

Subject: My first day here

Details: Greetings fellow Gendarmes. It's an great honor to be here, with you and to protect our people. Today was my first patrol with fellow Gendarmes. And i have to admit that it was intense one. It all started with my Tournez. Geez, i haven't seen that much dust in my entire life. So after pre-flight checks, i got out of spaceport to Ile-de-France low orbit. There i RV'ed with Legislateur. Captain of the ship quickly introduced me to situation and we moved out to Orkney. I have to admit that Orkney stations suffered some damage due to unknown attacker. Plus, we've encountered some wierd looking purple spaceballs. They weren't friendly. So we had to get rid of them. After that we moved to Tau-61 jumphole,as our mission required. System was quiet and quite ordinary by my taste. One gas giant, some moons, two asteroid fields. We quickly moved to gas giant, and our, uuuum, eggheads stare to scan down planets, and whine that Legislateur is a tin can. Sadly, they wrong, i think my ship was a tin can. But,in other hand, it's quite fast. Anyway. We scanned down what we coulkd, and encountered Technocracy vessel, and a Gaian one. Seems like that new system will be a busy hub. Oh, we even found out that it's connected to famous Roussilion. On our way home we encountered bunch of angry vegetarians. I'd not talk about our demise. But we got zapped hard. But I think we'll show some brutality them next time! That's all for now.
