Bomber Loadout - Guest - 04-12-2009 My setup is a MR and a SN. All debs on the roc. Yes, fighting someone who can dodge is a pain, but if he tries to get behind me he eats a nuke really fast. As for the barghie Id say all sammies and a SN, MR and a TCD is more than appropriate It all depends on what you are. Bomber Loadout - Robert.Fitzgerald - 04-12-2009 Imp debs are great, especially against capital ships which should be your main target. Else, zoner furies or codenames would work. The Bounty hunters guild is at war in the omicrons so there gear is needed for their pilots, not given out to freelancers and competitive mercs. Bomber Loadout - Ceoran - 04-12-2009 I suggest to look for a faction and rp to affiliate with first and then get your loadout according to this. If it's a merc: who are you going to work for most of the time? If It's a freelancer: debs, flashpoints and codes I guess. Bomber Loadout - Grimly - 04-12-2009 4*Colada + SNAC + Nova and join the corsairs ! It own anything. Also there is a way with 4 Colada + Starkiller + Nova, but I'm still trying to master it. Be sure once someone master it, it own much more ! Bomber Loadout - Weedalot - 04-12-2009 ' Wrote:I would like to know the best loadout for a civi bomber. I wish to make a char with one. please help:Di love having inferno and a snac on a bomber and 4 codes. This can take a GB alone pretty easy, 2 of those can take out a BS. Bomber Loadout - farmerman - 04-12-2009 I always like a Paralyzer Missile and then 3 heavy hitting hullbusters, which would vary depending on your affiliations. If all else fails, there are various codenames out there to use. Of course, I'm also not the most successful. :P Though I actually don't use a bomber all that much, usually only is large scale actions with other people so we can just bombard with supernova after supernova. Bomber Loadout - Derkylos - 04-12-2009 ' Wrote:Four Imp. Debilitators are a terrible set up. I see a lot of people using them... but seriously what do you do when you come up against a ship that you can't SNAC? Like a LF? Or a VHF pilot with half a brain? Blah, if you can't SN it, you shouldn't be fighting it in a bomber. Debs are great for finishing off the tail end of cruiser shields or lower, allowing you to save the power to SN their hull, thus restricting bombers to their intended role, plus you can use them alone to drop transport shields. ...or you could mount a paralyser, SW, CB, FS and go 'round raping fighters...but that's not what the bomber is designed for... Bomber Loadout - Andrew_Bonesovich - 04-12-2009 I usually mount 3 shieldbusters + missile, mostly SW, then SN (of course) and TCD/Nova/MR, depends on type of bomber. I have 3 bombers in total, and each one has different loadout, hard to say which is best, each has its + and - In my opinion: Nova+SN+Screamer mine = good against cruisers and above (gunboats tend to dodge Nova a lot) SN+TCD+Nuke mine = I have this on my praetorian (along with 3 coladas + SW) and I managed to kill BH gunship on my own once, and do quite well against other bombers and fighters too SN+MR+Ripper mine = Not sure, I have this on my Xeno Roc, I usually kill other bombers surprisingly fast, but fighters with missiles or torps can blast me to pieces in a while This is just my personal opinion, depends on skills of the pilot and what suits you more. Bomber Loadout - AceofSpades - 04-12-2009 I haz bombers 3 Shieldbusters, 1 Cannonball Missile, Nuc/Ripper Mine, SNAC, Nova/TCD No gunboat has a chance if you know what your doing and I have yet to meet many VHF pilots who don't have to bust ass to avoid a Cannonball, Nuc Mine, CD combo while dodging the epic SNAC ATTACK. Bomber Loadout - Bear - 04-13-2009 Thanks guys/girls you all really helped me here. Cheers bear |
