Then something strange occurred - a self-proclaimed Lieutenant Commander of the 46th Fleet, one the First Armada or yours truly have never encountered previously, 46th|Dean.Johnson, behaved extremely unprofessionally - perhaps something to investigate and bring up to the 46th' High Command should this bizarre behavior continue:

I don't want to be the one saying it - but it feels to be true. We have over-extended ourselves. Omicron NU, push on the Insurgency backwaters along with the usual threats - it was hard to hold them all, something had to give. And that something...was Ontario. We have received a transmission from our long-range space-capable vessel 1st|Huntsman.

It seems abandoned. The Xenos that were questioned at the scene seem to believe all of the 1200 people have left peacefully on their own accord. Given that the station shows no signs of damage or fighting their story seems plausible

It would appear that the system has been overrun by the terrorists, we have lost contact with our ship somewhere in Colorado, right after it sent the collected data.

There is little we can do right now...Vespucci is our priority, we have committed, we have our orders, but there will come time when we will have to care about Ontario again, or it will be yet another Vespucci situation, just with slightly different flavour.

Subject: Insurgents, regrouped.

A grave setback in the Insurgency campaign is upon us. What we were afraid of has happened. At least part of the Insurgent capital fleet has managed to evacuate Vespucci and has now merged with the Xenos.

The FRS-Raonoke carries the Xeno transponder openly, while sporting Insurgency weapons and a stolen Interdictor class Assault Battlecruiser in Ontario.

Admiral Dylan Brandt, the President, and the Congress were right - we had to move swiftly on the Insurgents, no matter the cost. Unfortunately despite the grave sacrifices, we have not forced fast enough through their defense positions, they seem to have integrated with the Xenos and regrouped in the now lost Ontario. We are currently dealing with the unified front of the Xenos AND the insurgency, in what our analysts have coined the Xenosurgency.

I am not sure what to make of this situation. We are committed to cleansing Vespucci and we will do just that with the help of the Ohio Battlegroup and my men, women, and officers beyond the binary. But the battle for Ontario has just begun.
