Good day fellow executive committee members,

It appears we'll still be able to manage the entirety of the Technocracy of Auxo contract after all, but only with strict NDA conditions on all the shipping crews they will accept.

Alexei, please communicate with the parties they've approved and gauge their interest in shipping to Inverness, but be sure to have them agree to NDA terms before disclosure of the client. My vetting seemed to indicate all factions should be fine with business with this group, but there are always hardliners in every outpost...

Until our next encounter,

Good day Executive Offices,

In recent days myself and my crew of the AWES-Resolution have encountered hostile vessels bearing the LH~ designation and identifying as the Lane Hacker faction. In all cases due to our assignment in Dublin we were caught supplying the Always Welcome Entertainment Services base near the Battleship Hood, bringing in construction materials for its last item configurations since the last upgrade.

Both encounters thus far have been more conversation than combat - which we trade crews prefer - but it has come at a cost of 1M per visit, and the last one occurred right outside the base, shocking the entire crew at their brazenness.

I will follow-up for a reimbursement request for the funds lost, but I must also recommend security against this group at the base level - we should have the base crew ready to defend nearby ships not if but when these vessels should return.

I've included the comms from both visits and any scans of the ship I was able to obtain discretely.

Good day Executive Offices,

Our supply runs took us to a number of destinations today in an effort to build up our coffers while assisting local upgrade projects.

We departed from Tau-31 to grab a load of Optronic Arrays from Tsushima Depot in Kyushu for base factory upgrades - the trip was nominal and we returned in record time.

While on Convergence Trade Centre base in Tau-31, the docking staff delightfully pointed out that they had received some standard ore supplies over the course of the week that he would handsomely pay us to run out to Bretonia for them. We were happy to oblige.

Our first load of Niobium Ore was delivered to Sprague in Omega-3 for a very nice profit. This also put us in a good position to pick a number of profitable cargos to return with. For the sake of convenience, we just grabbed some Reinforced Alloys from Leicester Shipping Platform for a quick run back through Cambridge to drop the product off at Nebula Technologies, knowing they always need this material. We managed to locate some Gold Ore to take back to Tau-31 so some other crew would have product to run if they were Kusari-bound.

After a brief lay-over, we were again approached by the dock master - Raw Hydrocarbons now were the priority of the day. While I was glad to see the base getting activity with our imports, this guy hopefully was making great sales to other crews too and not just our own! So, off we went again to Bretonia - a cargo hold full Raw Hydrocarbons we paid a bit higher for, due to its mid-way point in the route from its source.

It was shaping up to be another easy profitable run, until we exited the jump gate into Leeds - to be greeted by a disrupted lane and a heavily armed bomber of our friendly Lane Hacker faction.

While no combat took place, there was a lengthy discourse that was full of excitement - I somehow complimented them, they returned the favor with interest in us, there was a quick mention of recruitment into our organization somewhere... serious stuff.

However my wit and small talk did not succeed to get them from asking on the old credits for passage shick. Hauling expensive Raw Hydrocarbons instead of hull segments likely did not help my case, despite my attempts to downplay our margins (which were in all honesty actually lower due to midway pickup, but I digress).

In the end the Lane Hacker ship called Stellarum was paid 5 million credits to keep their guns off-line. I've included the logs of the conversation in my report below.

We proceeded to Cambridge to sell our cargo to Portsmouth Shipyard and picked up some Hull Segments for base upgrades

Sincerely,

Good day Executive Offices,

Our return from Cambridge consisted of first running a load of hull segments to Nebula Technologies where I was told that they had a special on a Iridium load that absolutely had to get to Sabah Shipyard in Coronado. It made sense, being closer to home base, so we accepted this load and paid out the cost of the product as well as related insurance.

We were just rounding the bend toward our preferred route through New London when we happened upon a friendly Freelancer explorer in a Spatial combat craft. After some small talk about the region, business, and trade, he offered to provide the ship an escort to Sabah Shipyard through a route he assured us was a bit quicker than our routing through Leeds. We took him up on his offer and learned a new route through Ice fields to Coronado as well as made a new contact with the Freelancer Aspen Harlow.

After the Iridium was sold on Sabah, the ship loaded up with yet another of the countless loads of Hull Segments from the station we've transported to Tau-31, more repair and upgrade materials for Convergence Trade Centre.

Upon arrival at the centre, there was a problem with staffing I was made aware of by the administrator. It appears that 150 or so crew had decided to take off and go to Freeport 6 in Tau-29 for some R&R. I was asked to retrieve them and appeal to their economic stability to make this happen. On Freeport 6 after the short trip from Tau-31, we located more of the crew and managed to convince the majority of them to return. The ones that were a lost cause we left there, and quickly filled their vacancies with temporary base staff (there's always lots of applications for this work on this Freeport). Back at the base, things slowly returned to normal, and our crew dispersed for some much deserved downtime .

Sincerely,

Good day Executive Offices,

This is my first assignment as a full fledged captain in Passenger operations since leaving the decommissioned post at Mirau Enterprises in Kyushu. It was a long haul with many items to report - our new headquarters in Liberty space is a very busy place at times!

My liner was completing an assignment of ferrying some VIPs through Rheinland to Sigma-15's Freeport 8. On the way, we encountered the always friendly SEO group, conversing with a miner working the scrap metal field in Frankfurt.

Upon passenger departure at Freeport 8, We took on a class of Arbiters going to Planet Los Angeles in the California system. A brief inspection by Rhienland Military in New Berlin near Essen Station confirmed our manifest was perfectly legal in Rheinland space - we would never try to pull one over on House Lawfuls!

From the New Berlin inspection, we proceeded to California. Aside from a very brief hostile set of contacts in Hamburg, appearing from the Corsair [TBH] tag, we had no further encounters with vessels with our Arbiter passenger delivery. They safely disembarked to continue their work and training in Liberty space.

Finally in Liberty space, we proceeded to fulfill the reason for our return - Salt Lake Station's advanced upgraded needed help from the Science community to properly oversee and implement. Our mission was to transport many, many, many scientists and their associated staff to New York to help with the requirements.

During a few of those runs, we encountered a few other ships cross our paths - unfortunately preliminary scans showed them to be smuggling or carrying unlawful commodities within Liberty Space! I've included what brief conversations I had, if any with them, usual occurring before our crew had a chance to do routine prelim scans. As per corporate 'Good Citizen' policy, I filled out a report for LPI for their records and follow-up.

So, overall a very productive and eventful set of trips!

Sincerely,

Good day hard-working AWES staff,

Just a quick memo to advise about a change in positions for one of our staff.

As of today, Jack Gibson will step down from his post of Chief Intelligence Officer. His service has been exemplary during his tenure in this position.

At his request, he will be assuming command at Ulster Station in Dublin, as Base Administrator, effective immediately.

This man has paid his dues supporting Interspace Commerce's interests abroad, and now continues in the equally challenging, yet a like more stable and stationary, role of working with BMF in Dublin on maintaining the Gold Ore supplies for our customers.

Jack's prior title will actually be phased out - to be replaced with another position of equal responsibilities but more appropriately called 'Extraordinary Investments'. His signature 'Ghost' callsign has been retired on his combat patrol spacecraft and replaced with 'Shadow' for the new placement.

That is all. Keep up the great work everyone!

Sincerely,

Good day Executive staff,

Alexei, we have been doing well with factory progression - many of the new developments are in operation and equipment manufacturing is underway!

I look forward to the day when we finish development and are solely focused on production of the equipment, but we are still requiring a lot of cargo deliveries before this day arrives. Optronic Arrays and a few other critical building resources are in high demand.

We've got a list for our suppliers on our base information net link as well as on-demand from the base administration itself (//F9 page). If you feel we would be better suited to make a few more direct supply requests, let me know and we'll discuss suitable suppliers with available ships to help out.

Sincerely,

Good day Executive Offices,

My standard patrols today took my combat ship around the Tau-31 and Coronado areas, checking for any hostile activity around the vicinity of our Convergence Trade Centre and its supply routes.

I received a direct communication from an ID called 'CriminalMeans' which already set off some alarms given I was in Coronado at the time and had spotted a few potential pirates flying just out of scanner range.

The whole communication reeks of some plot to discredit or stain our corporation in some way, and the lack of evidence as well as the answers to some of my standard questions on the matter didn't add much to the credibility of the complaint. I recommend filing this under 'nuisance' as I'm assuming the issue and contact discussed likely never happened and is some sort of scam. I'm sure this call was 'setting the stage' for a future contact that will likely involve an insurance claim, a lawsuit, or just some sort of local thug bullying for credits.

Here's the details from the logs, for the records. Hopefully they sit there until archival down the road.

Other than this incident, my patrol was rather uneventful. I will continue to monitor traffic, providing support where needed.

Good day Executive Offices,

My standard patrols today took my combat ship around the New York, performing the standard 4 point patrol around the trade lane grid.

There were a few helpful traders that mentioned some recent near encounters with hostiles in the area. We tried to cover the areas mentioned but most of the information occurred well prior to our receipt of the tips.

Upon return to Salt Lake Station, a Rogue destroyer, Mad.Runner, was actively pirating in the area, including our own AWES-Legacy. Fortunately, however too late to prevent piracy losses, the vessel LNS-Typhoon showed up to deter the pirate's intimidation of local traders.

This ship was so focused on the Rogue, however, that a smuggler by the ID of Traversai passed right by my vessel and the navy craft, but was obviously seen as a lower priority issue to the navy at the time of the incident, as they were not pursued.

My records of the events are included below:

I will continue to monitor traffic, providing support where needed.
