If they are independents, no one can really help you here. Some indis(not all) are pvp-whores/wtfpwnsers and or lolcapers with little or no desire to RP whatsoever. Its very common unfortunately, but it's the price for and awesome Mod (or would it be conversion now) like this one.
If you have gripes about unfairness with an official Discovery Faction/Clan/Guild, you should visit their feedback forum and [politely] bring forth the problem and/or issue. Most factions are open to criticizing and are willing to improve for the benefit of this community.

Well, it's a bit odd to let a Hacker go to Texas, which is still a lawful Liberty system. However, I can understand the confusion here after they did say they'd let you go.
What seems to have happened is a bit of trigger lust on the part of the independent LPI. What should have been done is he should have ceased firing, or ordered to cease fire by the other LPI. Unfortunately, you returned fire, which was probably what caused the other LPI to open fire on you.
A bit of hard luck, is all. Different person, different time, it may have been a different outcome.
EDIT: Please do calm down, Boss. Flame threads can be diffused before they go off, you know. In the meantime, can all parties involved agree to live and let live?

From what I understand, it was three fighters, and you were given every opportunity to leave but took unnecessary moves. They told you to go a way that they could be sure you left, ie the tradelanes, and you didn't. You first tried to run to the debris fields, then the badlands, and you got what was coming to you.
Sadly, Liberty is a warzone at the moment. Lots of people think hunting the LPI specifically is great sport. Don't be surprised when you come to New York in a gunboat and get beat on. Accept the loss and move on.
OH, and the indy was told to hold fire and did.

Sadly that is what not happend, I was leaving to Texas and they kept playing games with me, they just wanted a free kill, they said I could go, I left and was heading to the Texas jumphole and they followed me in and then out of the blue decided to kill me.

This is an issue that can be sorted out by PM. No need to hang this kind of issue out on the forum. It causes needless agro, when infact you could have dealt with it quietly, and far more productively, without getting anyone's backs up privately.
Talk to people personally. It works a lot better. Actualy gets things done rather than making people angry.
