Also one last thing, i think the zone for the event will be in an area where Rhineland NPC Battlecruiser and cruiser patrolz spawn so that might give them an advantage because the NPC bombers are so annoying to deal with.
Yeah I flew around there, and I saw both RM and Red Hessian patrols spawning in D-E3. I think it's best that we just deal with them, at least the bombers will give the fighters something to shoot once they take care of their targets.
That being said I think the corsairs will get an extra cap slot to make up for the patrols, so I'll keep that in mind when I do any last moment balancing.

Could hessians docking be allowed to compensate for the fact that they will 100% die and to potentially help stave off the inevitable?

The Hessians have two competing objectives if they want to win - they must stay safe enough not to be destroyed outright, but they must also engage if one of the sides is clearly snowballing. I want to make that the focus of the event for them, without complicating things further at this time.
