Would it be in-RP to use a liberty (super)transport to smuggle artifacs into liberty, seeing as smugglers would try to be inconspicuous?

Yeah inconspicuous in your enormous ship not affiliated to any liberty faction.
using mooring points whilst smuggling is also awful.
