This is going to take a while, so grab your mug. Last cycle, I got out on a routine patrol through the usual systems.
Encountered some Navy Ships with Exotic equipment; 3 fighters, all of the 46th - Ident: M.Kemp-Smith; Bravo-42 and Alpha-66.
Kemp had his ship full of Core equipment
Bravo-42 had an odd mix of equipment
Alpha-66 was flying an Order Anubis Fighter
Kemp stated that he's had his ship since he was a cadet. What about the equipment? How did they get their hands on Core, Hessian, Coalition and Order equipment or ships?
I continued to Penn where TFA popped on my scanner, somewhere between Eerie and Bethlehem.
I couldn't pinpoint their location but since they spotted me as well and I got to listen to their chatter, that means 2 things: they got good scanners but poor or no comms security. These can be exploited later. They evaded a further scan, I think they went for the Ralston Ice Field. I notified the Navy of their presence and continued my patrol.
Upon reaching New York, West Point, things got interesting, they popped up in full force.
3 Fighter Crafts, 1 Conference Gunboat and something foreign, a Grendel Rheinland Blackmarket Frigate, who's pilot claimed he was former Navy Rear Admiral, Independent Flotilla. They must have a connection to the Insurgency, since part of their equipment is Insurgency labelled. If this is valid, this needs to be looked into.
The fact that they brought a frigate in House space raises questions: what or who were they carrying to or from Bethlehem OR are they running low on funds that they need to resort to cargo piracy?
Liberty Navy popped up, another Order Anubis, designation Natalie.Cahoone. From the chatter, the Technocracy claimed the Navy ship was involved in some skirmishes all the way in Leeds with some of their companions.
Now the Navy ship is Order, with an Order Engine and Order weapons. Might I say that the Navy Officer is an Order Agent?
A mixed response of fighter crafts and heavy capital ships arrived, Navy, Aegis and another LSF agent - Ident:-V-Buzzard. What ensued was a skirmish between the Bounty Hunters and parts of the Navy against the Technocrats. I swear, If I didn't have the recording, people would say I make this shit up; an Outcast Battlecruiser popped up while they were fighting. The Navy capital ships, I don't know what they were doing, drawing straws or tossing dice, had a good look at It before deciding to engage it. Hells.
Now this all was being kindly watched by a cloaked Lane Hacker gunship - Ident: Misconfig and a Corsair ship - Ident: Ooze_Goose. Oddly enough, the Navy Natalie.Cahoone did not participate in any of the fighting.
To sum it up, in 1 Patrol: 4 Navy Ships either of exotic manufacture or full of exotic equipment, so that alone is a workload to see if it requires investigation; a Technocracy raiding party that should be investigated, from their bickering and infighting to their connections to the Insurgency and Rheinland Black Market; the Security Breaches from the Outcast Battlecruiser and Hacker Gunboat. And whatever that Xeno and Corsair were doing there as well.

Quite the evening. Seems a lot of our focus is being pulled away from our operational responsibilities and being drawn into basic patrol duties and keeping the peace.
[She sighs but continues the report.]
We rerouted from Magellan to to Colorado to discuss some things with Cryer in orbit of Planet Denver. A Starfliers ship exited the Trade Lane from Galileo, one of the old Democritus liners. We decided to do a random inspection, and we were glad we did. The ship was carrying the very same gas we recently discovered in Omicron Minor.
We asked the captain, one Mark Hal if they had a license to transport this material through Liberty...to which they affirmed they did not. They also informed me that another ship was carrying more via Kusari. I informed them that their ship would not be impounded as it normally would due to the Starfliers regular assistance to the Liberty government in the past, but I did fine them both 10,000SC once the second ship arrived (one Renzu Liner) and began to escort them out of Liberty space. I strongly advised them to get this sorted out, as any future violations would be by the book.
What's more, before we departed, a fucking Crayter Battlecruiser popped out of the New York gate lane and beelined to the Galileo lane before we could react. There was no sense trying to catch them considering we were heavily outclassed. The LNS-Apollo who was on site with us, mentioned that they had said they were bringing marines to the Taus. Why they were passing through Liberty, and I assume Kusari after Galileo, instead of routing through Baffin is beyond me. It seems they were under orders to use this as a cover story. We will be reaching out to our colleagues in the 46th and Navy to inform them of this event as they have the proper channels to reach out to Crayter. A Liberty Agent reaching out instead would certainly ruffle feathers.
I began escorting them out of Liberty space, with the assistance of LNS-Apollo when we came across a separatist--one Katelyn Crow. Filthy traitor. They weren't worth the energy stored in my power core, so I told them to get lost and entered New York to find the Starfliers had disappeared. I attempted to catch them in California but lost their trail. I will be sending a strongly worded communication to their leadership on the importance of following official Liberty Agents and Officers in the future and see if I can use my act of mercy as leverage in getting more information on this gas they were hauling.

Launched from Chadwick, usual route. Texas, Penn, Colorado, New York were clean, plenty of traffic, no problems.
Was making my way to New York > Cali jump gate when a convoy of Zoners belonging to the Phoenix Organization jumped in system, 1 Frigate, 4 Bulwarks and 1 hired gun, mute I presume. Or Illiterate by its ship name. I didn't bother with him and he didn't bother with me, or maybe he doesn't speak or understand English. They have quite expensive and military grade equipment on those ships.
Anyway, ships Identification:
1 Scarab Frigate - Asteria
4 Bulwarks - Trireme Alpha, Trireme Beta, Trireme Gamma, Thelema
1 Havok - Dream-huanter
Cargo scan came clean, all were carrying Niobium.
There has to be a "but".
Trireme Gamma was in possession of Nomad Missiles and Mines and the Scarab Asteria had mounted a restricted tech scanner, Wiretap. Order by manufacture, LSF by tech.
Upon questioning of where they came from, they claimed to be from Omicron Delta. When asked about the Nomad ordinance and why Its present in their cargo, they claimed they "picked it up by accident".
Now, upon being questioned for the provenance of the Wiretap, things got murky. They blatantly lied, stumbled and fumbled one another. Then they invoked a lack of a legal representative, lawsuit, Core Involvement and "rights". Hah! Once Advocate-7 of the LSF, some Excelsus Squadron working in the Omicrons and Alien areas arrived at the scene, the Zoners fumbled once more, letting slip that they either have access or knowledge to Nomad Tech. An LSF agent claiming to be working in the Omicrons and Alien Areas happens to drop by in New York as I stopped a convoy of Zoners claiming to come from Omicron Delta; who have knowledge of Nomad Tech and are in possession of Nomad Ammunition and Order Tech. How fortunate, don't you think? Too fortunate for my liking. You should have more information on these guys, you can handle it. I hope.
He was useful in pressuring them to get to Norfolk for a thorough inspection without me having to resort to force.
At Norfolk, after the inspection, they didn't have any Nomad Tech or Ammo on board. The Security and Inspection crews came clean for the rest of their ships, except for Asteria. I decided to detain him for further questioning.
The captain buckled and admitted to be in possession of classified and restricted blueprints, presumably acquired from a "fighter wreck".Those blueprints are invaluable and must be acquired by LSF. Maybe I can get some information on how they were leaked. If they exist. If not, either Phoenix is tied with Order, infiltrated by it or a front for Order. Or Order is selling its tech for profit to Zoners. Either way, I'll not come back empty handed.
I will tag along with these Zoners, to see where this leads. Their destination is Freeport 11 in Omicron Delta. I am currently docked on Eerie, the Zoners are resting and visiting friends or family and restocking on Deuterium It seems. I will switch to a civilian ship and ID, and manage to report on route as they stop by. Since they can't dock in any House space, they will most likely dock on Freeports or other facilities.

I tagged along with the Phoenix convoy to Bering where they delivered the Niobium on Akutan. They turned back to Liberty and headed to Penn to acquire Deuterium.
I landed on Erie and the zoners are all over the settlements. I am surveying the captain of the Asteria, Jacob. He's visiting some friends it seems; Anne and John Lemox, 2 refugees from Gran Canaria, from their LPI records. Residence: Settlement No 76, coord: 40°48′04″N 85°59′29″W.
I will have a dossier ready with more information once I get aboard his ship. For the moment the crew is busy on it with repairs and provisioning it for the trip back.
I've placed a tracker on his vehicle and alarm on my pad.
I dropped by SL11 - SN76.
I took from storage some equipment: 8 ship trackers, 4 vehicle trackers, 2 blasters and ammunition, 1 compact plasma rifle, 2 close combat weapons, 1 electrobaton, 1 magscope, 1 full medkit, 4 debilitating grenades, 4 explosive and 4 smoke grenades, 2 incendiary grenades.
Switched to a civ ship and clothing.
The ships a CTE-19000 "Roc" Civilian Bomber, mat brown, Manufacture ID: L.M.-183.540. Transponder's functional, active and added into the system for tracking while outside Liberty. Additional Blackbox added to the ship, integrated with the system and functional.

We're applying pressure to the research and exploration group known as the Starfliers for data on Azurite Gas from Omicron Minor. They don't know about our access to the Order's former home or the fact we know that is the location where this gas originates. For now, we're pressuring them for data on said gas and are threatening them with impoundment of all their ships under suspicion of researching technologies with the intent to harm Liberty. Should they comply with handing over all of the data they have on the gas, we will leave them be. Frankly, I am remiss to burn a bridge of mutual cooperation with a organization that might help us in the future, but I suspect they would not play ball otherwise. Being an independent organization, no doubt they would be hesitant to give this data over to someone such as us. Time will tell if they comply, or if we have to escalate things.
Agent Faust's project appears to not be showing any signs of movement. While passenger travel from Liberty to the Omicrons should generate intelligence, at least in theory, it seems like this angle may be a moot point. I'm standing by for a report by the analyst to see if anything has shaken loose from his venture. If not, our best leads may be with our undercover operative in Omicron Delta who tentatively appears to be making some progress with the local Zoners there. Depending on his report, we may be pulling him back into the fold as an active agent rather than an undercover one.
In other news, some news on the LSF-RC-X1 project. Our technicians and engineers onboard Chesapeake have removed all of the experimental weapons from the hull and have begun a complete retrofit of the previous super structure to something more in line with recent discoveries. Though Bretonia is a loose ally of Liberty, relations have been worsening since the defeat of Gallia. It might be a good idea to collect intelligence related to goings on in their backyard and see if any data can be gleaned that might help us should hostilities break out and leave Liberty fighting in a two front war.

Agent Faust's project appears to not be showing any signs of movement. While passenger travel from Liberty to the Omicrons should generate intelligence, at least in theory, it seems like this angle may be a moot point. I'm standing by for a report by the analyst to see if anything has shaken loose from his venture. If not, our best leads may be with our undercover operative in Omicron Delta who tentatively appears to be making some progress with the local Zoners there. Depending on his report, we may be pulling him back into the fold as an active agent rather than an undercover one.

Our technicians and engineers onboard Chesapeake have removed all of the experimental weapons from the hull and have begun a complete retrofit of the previous super structure to something more in line with recent discoveries. I am assuming the Identity of John "Spook" Smith; Freelancer Interplanetary Delivery Pilot. The "Spook" part comes from my grey hair, which is natural by this age.
I will tag along them as I will have a delivery to make to Freeport 11 in Omicron Delta. The Data slate is ready with all the information needed to pass the inspection when leaving Erie, as not to raise suspicion.
They are planning on stocking the ships with Deuterium from the Bristol Facility, Cleveland Station. Seems they have a working contract with Bristol. I wonder what else they bring in from the Omicrons?
I infiltrated his vessel while the crew were out celebrating and planted an internal tracker. The eggheads from Chesapeake are good! This new one takes less than 2 minutes to mount on any power cable within the ship. Looks like a cable repair connector, and from what the eggheads said, the power drain is small but continuous, integrated with life support and the signal overlaps both the frequency and the wave length as the scanner signal and won't be detected. Fucking ingenious!
You will have to send someone here to investigate all the other crews and captains. This place has too many "refugees", corruption's ripe and I will bet you your left wooden armchair leg that at least one of them is connected to Militants or Order. Or both.
