well having 5k cargo costs.. not only in credits for the ship but with its maneuverability and its lack of CM's.. getting a smaller vessel can get your cargo in one piece more often...

Well i know of many good escorts that do not charge that much.. i think standard payment can be form 200k a system 10% of profits or agreed amount and bonus if they have to chase a pirate away... i am sure it should not be more than 2 mil a run.
