On an indie ID (3.0x multiplier). Had I instead traded the stuff to a more remote location, like a BMM base in New London, I'd likely have made a healthy 6 million or so. Regardless, it's good stuff and that's with the PoB(s) heavily undercutting NPC bases in terms of HRC price. After some testing I highly doubt these numbers now. Due to the increased size of the ship you can't get THAT quickly from asteroid to asteroid. 5000 ore plus transport time every 30 minutes, multiplied by price in Connacht Depot mulitplied by 8 or 9? Makes 5-7 mio in that time. THey have -AT LEAST- 3 destructible elements all of which drop ore. The biggest one have 6-7 elements afaik RE: Hegemon problems - Busy Miner - 06-12-2024 (06-12-2024, 07:07 AM)Helo Wrote:(06-12-2024, 06:21 AM)Busy Miner Wrote:(06-10-2024, 09:49 AM)Busy Miner Wrote:(06-10-2024, 08:32 AM)Helo Wrote: The size is slightly problematic when navigating gold ore field yes. I always found 2 mining spots (and there are indeed small asteroids where i couldn't find more than 2), therefore my estimate of the drop-number, but I have found no asteroid bigger than 3 mining spots yet. And no mining spot with more than 3 ore targets ((3x 60 up to 80ish) x 3 +80-100ish). PS: there are asteroids with more health, that have even more mining spots. Due to the increased size of the ship you can't get THAT quickly from asteroid to asteroid. These are accurate numbers, for an indie ID it takes about 10-11min to get full once you got the rythem for it, and Connact atleast in its old location had a sub 5min flight time per travel direction so it's fairly okay to get a 3 run per hour going with it. 3 runs an hour easily fit 10mil in 5 hours. Not in a million years do you get this quickly - in this huge ship - from resource asteroid to resource asteroid and strafing around each asteroid without being constantly blocked by smaller and larger dull asteroids. No, just no. It takes at least 15-20 minutes to get full if the resource asteroids are lined up pretty conveniently, and like 20-30 minutes if you are unlucky. Or do have missilies an explosion radius that is so big that all the lids from the asteroid get hit simultaneously so you don't need to strafe? Hegemon is not a ship designed to pick up every single nugget, timing of 10-11min is achievable by taking on average 2 nuggets from your side then blowing up the asteroid fully. You take what is easy to get then move on. However even trying to get every single nugget doesn't take that long, its very straight forward to do it. I've put in about 30 hegemon runs mining gold ore so far this patch and all of them are sub 12min on indie id. RE: Hegemon problems - Lord Chaos - 06-15-2024 I honestly love the ship have no problem with the size, I would just ask to return its rotation/turn speed and it be really dangerous to attack any lone miner. Still think it is a great addition to the ship rooster Now all that is missing is a civilian frigate that can mine just like the Salvager, cruiserless factions are benefiting alot from these changes. Also congratulations on the new Gold mining mechanics, it s awesome that finaly mining is a real activity instead of just pewing moskito rocks as fast as possible. RE: Hegemon problems - Sam101 - 06-15-2024 Great ship and loadout for a good short , fill a POB ship close to mining field. I think its good for other secret operations as well. Explosion damage comes in handy when you want to get rid of the lids of ALL mining spots in an asteroid at the same time/explosion range. Flak cannons are good for that, but explosions do absolutely zilch on the ore spots, so surgical precision is key there. |
