Mmk. I guess you might have a corrupt installation. There's a program in the Freelancer\EXE directory called DsInstallChecker. Run it. It creates a checksum of the files in your Freelancer directory. Once it finishes click "save" and send the file to me at geeksquadof1@gmail.com

I had this problem a few months back so I totally uninstalled freelancer from my pc (ie: mod manager, original game, mods, everything). Worked just fine then.

All adds up to say you simply don't have the current version of the mod.
We're on 4.85.2 at the moment, not 4.856.
