RE: Yeah nah, nah yeah. - Serpentis - 01-19-2026 Well, goodbye o7 I did not know you, but, it seems to be a trend this.. View of the server. Which sucks. And, it sucks you felt you had to leave, but, I 100% understand you doing it and I think it was the right decision to take. If a community is draining you of anything closely resembling fun and many of it's members makes you this "upset", then yeah, look towards other chances for creativity to flow. I am sure you were a cool person to get to know and RP with and I wish you all the luck in the future o7 RE: Yeah nah, nah yeah. - Locksmith - 01-19-2026 After our conversation, I can understand your position. And even agree on some things. My advice remains the same as it was before: it's a game, and if you're not enjoying it, the best thing to do is to simply spend your time on other things. That being said, I'm sorry the community didn't live up to your expectations. This place was better with you here. And I can only hope that one day you'll find this place worth returning to. Until then, take care. RE: Yeah nah, nah yeah. - TheKusari - 01-20-2026 Thanks for the mention and kind words. Appreciated the RP and interactions we've had so far. Shame it's come to an end. Gotta do what you gotta do. Can't fault you for that whatsoever. Hope wherever you get to next treats you better than what you experienced here. We all deserve to move onto something better. I find it very fitting that the title of this thread summarizes the relationship between the playerbase and developers, especially when it comes to decisions regarding the handling of certain factions. Can understand the reasoning that this within itself causes a lot of frustration and friction. This is coming from someone who sees things from both sides. "Nah, yeah that's how it is now" - Devs "Yeah, nah I'll do my own thing" - Playerbase RE: Yeah nah, nah yeah. - Weapon - 01-20-2026 There's a certain irony here. The Discovery I remember best mercilessly teased these sorts of generalized Bad Feelings leaving threads. Not saying you're wrong and people's lives are ultimately about themselves - do whatever's best for you. But I see an abundance of understanding and sympathy here that would've been drowned out by a certain kind of person not so long ago. RE: Yeah nah, nah yeah. - Jayenbee - 01-20-2026 Acknowledged Freeport 7, we'll see you in about two weeks. I never understand these leaving threads. Always seems like an excuse to cause a scene. And if they really still cared about the community, why are they leaving? - Agree with the looking inwards part, those that spout it should follow their own advice too. You're a great person, Nodoka, and, for what it's worth, you and your roleplay is was (and remains) an overwhelming fixture in my experience of Discovery. You've added much during your time here. It's a shame we haven't had a chance to interact since my return. Good luck - enjoy your break. RE: Yeah nah, nah yeah. - Fab - 01-20-2026 We didn't interact much, but, I'll miss you. Hope to see you back soon. RE: Yeah nah, nah yeah. - TheDoctorXI - 01-20-2026 Kudos, Nodoka. Fair winds and following seas. RE: Yeah nah, nah yeah. - A Magpie - 01-20-2026 So long, space robot girl. |
