Actually, I feel like this needs added clarity. Does this mean anything for the LLBC specifically or will it continue to be a Bretonian ship?

In the case of the LLBC, that ship is currently in the Bretonia technology cell, so it would for the time being remain usable by Bretonia. It is a Liberty ship that exists because of this lease. If this lease no longer exists, logically speaking this ship should no longer exist. However whether this makes sense as is or whether the ship should be removed is a separate discussion that we need to have.

I feel like that's a conversation that should've been had before this announcement was made. The infocard does explicitly name it as a Bretonian variant of the ship, not just a plain Interdictor, and there are LLBCs still in service with the BAF, one being in charge of the 1st Flotilla at the Dublin gate. Given the relative rarity of the type I don't think seeing an occasional LLBC around will be an issue, but then I might be biased as an LLBC owner myself.

At the moment, most of us are more than okay to keep the LLBC as is due to it basically being a collectors ship.

You can always rp with the LN or BAF factions to have the ship tech-exempted

I would suggest an inRP reason where Bretonia pays for the unique LLBCs to keep them while it returns the other liberty vessels that were not so 'heavily modified'.

Since the LLBC is not obtainable for quite some time, it would only be kept as a collectable. Since it is an entirely separate, but identical, copy of an existing Liberty ship, it has not yet been decided whether the ship will continue to be included in future balance passes, or if it will be left behind.

The game is far more enjoyable when the factions have more freedom and more 100% techcomp instead of putting 10% restrictions. Lore wise maybe, but for 22 years old game you can give some more freedom to IDs. The fights are far more enjoyable too.

Are there intentions to make it unique again in some capacity? Perhaps Bretonian Engines on it or bringing back the Bretonian flags on the sides?

Good day. I had a TechExempt on my Bret Bomber some Years ago while I was still a member of the 46th. I have put some RP Behind this ship to Justify this. Then there was no longer a need for RP Like this so I bought a Bretonian Gunboat as well. Now I have 2 Questions.
1st What is with my old TechExempt for the Bretonian Bomber? Will the TechExempt be Reinstated?
2nd What is with the Bretonian Gunboat that I Bought Normally in the Game? Will this be Transformed into a TechExempt or do I have to simply swap the Bret Gunboat for a Liberty one and have to live with the loss in Credits?
