I'd like to see more really dangerous space in the deep Omicrons/ Nomad Space.
I know it was never designed to be so....but I love the system of the Donut of Doom. The navigation errors are brilliant as a unique and serious hazard of that region of space. Perhaps something similar could be done for Lost? Then...it would be named appropreately, no?

I think that, going by its name, it should be very mysterious, perhaps being an entire nebula system of the sort in omicron iota, and having many hidden (nomad) bases and perhaps even a planet within the eerie depths.

Maybe a Freeport wreckage with some small lootable craft? You know, as a memorial?
I guess it would have been cleared up or destroyed entirely, but I think the Zoners would leave a marker there, so they know that even they cannot spread everywhere.
EDIT: Maybe the planet that the original artifacts with Nomads where disturbed could be there and Freeport 7 was in the area? As a jumping off point for the Rheinland excavators?

Meh. I don't see why you have to add something to omicron lost. For me it stands for an empty, uncharted (even though it has been), unknown system which no-one should know about - therefore it should be untouched. It's my favorite system.

Those are my sentiments. Adding more than one thing of interest to the system would really ruin it.
Its beauty and feeling are in the vast emptiness, the darkness of space, and the fact that you feel so far removed from any living things.

Freeport 7 was FILMED in Omicron Lost.
Freeport 7 was LOCATED in Sigma-17. That's where the wreck is. That's where it's supposed to be.
It's like saying that "Lord of the Rings was filmed in New Zealand. It's clearly a story about New Zealand. "
