RE: Players Sanctioned: Various Corsairs - John'DTR'Grey - 07-08-2025

Good day,

Well, sanctions are public, so for me debating them publicly is not a bad thing meanwhile it serves the objective interests to clarify and clear things.

I do get the GMG point, and it is fair, I believe how you did expose it makes a lot of sense and indeed, it is clear.

However, I do not agree that much with the two rules broke here, if broke. At least, not per nature. I do stick to the arguments shown that 2.0 rule was broken.

2.0 - Every ship must have one ID equipped, and play in a way that represents the role of that ID. Your ID explains what you can do and where. Some IDs have a 'Zone of Influence' (ZOI) where extra actions are permitted. All IDs have a ZOI in systems containing an NPC station of the same affiliation. A player that flies ships outside of ZOI to invite attack from ships that could otherwise not be attacked by the player in question can be considered PVP baiting as explained by this link.

It does raises some questions to me.

- Who did had more than 2 ID's?
- Who were outside ZOI fighting Phoenix?
- Was someone doing PVP baiting?

2.1 - You must provide sufficient roleplay before attacking another player, and give them enough time to react. This means at least two messages and 10 seconds delay before attacking.
Note: Every form of RP is acceptable.

I am pretty confident, that even with the first shoots from the ship Vizela[TBH], primaries that really make 0 damage to a bulwark it could count as a first strike, but the RP, even when, for my point of view, blank and plain is sent, there is more than enough time prior to the first shoot, so again, that rule 2.1 raises me questions:

- Wasn't enough time to fire?
- If any form of RP, even as blank and plain as this, is accepted, was it enough to fire?

I did saw the full video, two videos of this in fact, and only 3 bombers engaged 2 bulwarks. Wasn't a gank either, 1.0 "don't be a dick" couldn't count here too, since per nature of the rule there wasn't a blatant act of "I want to make you in pain". In fact, DTR have been trying to evade as much as possible this type of contacts, as we can see, this comes from 1 month ago.

I did fully objectively disclosed here, and would like to know you'r opinion.

Thank you so much.

All your questions about the sanction were explained in great detail in Petitioner's last post. The sanction stands, and we're done here.
