A lot of communications of late to Militants and Zoners alike in Pennsylvania. Messages from lying politicians and friendly allies both.

Allow me to introduce who we are. We are the Ashen Hull Pact. We are a small, little-known militant group which formed at Freeport 11. Our transport convoy was ambushed by LSF and Corsairs alike after we strayed too close to an interaction of theirs. Luckily, a passing convoy of other Zoners was able to recover many of the lifepods, but most of our number died at the hands of these savages. We swore a pact to avenge all those Zoners who died at the hands of monsters. Liberty, Bretonia, Corsairs, Core, Coalition--it matters not. They all burn together.

With introductions out of the way, many of our number are Transport Captains playing at being fighters. Much of what we've been doing is tightening down supply lines for Liberty. These include smugglers, unless they have items that we need to support our own movement. Having flown transport ships for so long, we know their blind spots and how to exploit them. Our skill sets in actual combat are woefully limited, however, and our numbers are small. Dying in combat is not something that we can afford, as our movement would be wiped out before we ever got vengeance for those we lost.

Finally, we've reached out to Kusari concerning their offer of material assistance and training earlier in the year. No doubt they are planning to use us to sow discord in Liberty and try to force them to fight on at least a two-front approach. Kusari has never done any wrong to us--yet. If they want to use us, then we will use them in kind. That doesn't mean we won't be ready for some kind of betrayal as soon as their little spat with Liberty is over. We have a meeting with them at some point in the near future. Based upon what information we get from them, we will inform the other cells and groups and see who is willing to accept their offer. We in the Ashen Hull Pact plan to accept it for combat training so we can bring the fight to our enemies.

Keep fighting the good fight. If supplies are required, let us know. We can see about finding some old transport ships to supply others on the front lines even if we can't participate in combat scenarios...yet.

Shard-001, good to hear from you on the channel. Lemme know if any of your pilots need training--we've got plenty of experienced pilots, myself included, who'd be willing to help people get to grips with combat flying. But let's hope it doesn't come to that, for your sakes.

Far as Kusari is concerned, I'm in agreement with you that they're prolly looking to exploit the situation as much as possible. Personally, I don't trust any house that's willing to intervene, and Kusari's got a bad track record in other ways, but 's true that they've never done wrong by Zoners. We need all the help we can get right now, so anything they're willing to provide would do us well--I'm just prepared for the other shoe to drop with them at a moment's notice.

If y'wanna patch any of us into your talks with Kusari, we can collaborate more extensively to figure out their motives and see how we could work together. I'd be hesitant to let them know too many of our plans, just in case, but an ally's an ally, even if they're ultimately self-interested. Just gotta keep 'em at arm's length. They'll always have power over us, so we gotta tread carefully.

We've been mobilizing supplies to the front as much as possible, using Allentown as an ad hoc distribution center. Junkers don't seem to mind, given that it brings them credits, but 's prolly not gonna remain a safe spot to do it from for long. I'm hoping that we can get Pinnacle up to operational status, even if 's not the best option, just so that we have a foothold in the system. Any presence is better than no presence. We'd be happy to collaborate for convoys, whatever the case may be.

To follow up on the previous transmission, it looks like the Xeno Alliance hit a convoy in New York that may have been bound for Pennsylvania, and destroyed some LPI patrols in Manhattan's atmosphere. If they're right that this increases patrol response times in Pennsylvania, then this'll set up well for our future operations.

Hitting harder in New York to follow up on the Xenos' efforts might do well for us in getting the Navy to fortify in the region, which'd make sure that we'd have less difficulty in Pennsylvania. But, there's also the possibility that they'd raise security in Pennsylvania as well as New York. It'd also be more dangerous--attacking in a region that we know they're actively watching. I know that if I was fighting an enemy, and they struck everywhere but where they seemed to care most, then I'd be suspicious.

I wanna get the input of allied forces here. I think it's a risky play to attack anything else at the moment, 'cuz we're gonna be strongest in our opening strikes. As long as we don't engage directly in anything major, they're just gonna see us as a nuisance. But, the window the Xenos made won't be open forever. If anyone can think of a way to capitalize on it, then we might be able to pull something off. There's also the possibility, of course, that by the time we're ready to attack local naval depots their security in Pennsylvania will still be affected. Formally, I think it's best to keep our cards close to our chest for now.

Siara, I've relieved Setsuna for the moment from strategic oversight on this campaign. For the rest of you, I'll briefly introduce myself - I am Nodoka Hanamura, leader of Battlegroup Ouroboros. Suffice to say, both Erie and Pennsylvania served as home for me after circumstances I've told Siara about at least, somewhat - years ago. That being said, I won't regale you with what you've already probably heard from Setsuna.

As much as I appreciate the Xenos being something resembling useful for once, I feel extending forces beyond the theater to run say, transport interdiction won't bring about any sufficient material benefit for our forces. We need to hit them close to home, at home, or not at all. They are waging a war on three fronts - here, Kusari and in Inverness. The majority of their forces are going against Kusari, as they are a peer adversary that poses the most threat. Auxesia is about the same size as we are, but they have a technological advantage. We're the lesser threat, but maybe we can exploit that.

I'm not suggesting to underestimate them, far from it. Smaller in numbers they may be, they are still formidable. If we are going to cripple their logistics, the best course of action is to hit that satellite depot in system, or at least until we feel confident enough to commit to the action, run interdiction in system to either destroy or pirate transports to hurt what they're bringing to and fro. Bonus points if we can find transports carrying troops aboard.

Liberty can try to replace ships, armaments and supplies. But they can't replace men so easily.

That being said, the usual doctrines are best to accompany this - hit and run attacks on patrols, whittling down their numbers - even if you can't destroy one, damaging a capital enough will at least see it a couple weeks in dry-dock getting repairs. And once we bring down that supply satellite, they are going to rely heavily on transports from New York to bring in supplies - which we can then exploit through the usual means.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I can forward you the communications we've had with the KOI shortly. However, the communication was clipped and brief just as you might expect from the intelligence arm of a government. We haven't heard anything back yet about a meeting but we're standing by in Pennsylvania as that's where they said they'd meet us.

We've managed to get our hands on an extremely dated Pilgrim Liner but it's not quite reliable. If you have a way for us to patch up the remaining holes in the hull and get the engines more reliable, we can use it as a source of supplies. We're going to flash Zoner IFF and route the ship via the Taus through Kansas to avoid any visibility from Liberty and their cronies. The most dangerous systems will be Cortez and Magellan considering the frequency of DSE and Navy ships in those areas. Due to the age, it has limited capabilities but we can bring in troops, resources, or anything else using the ship.

You mentioned Allentown. I recommend we enlist a few crackpot, crazy smuggler Junkers from Allentown and beyond to run us supplies. It might cost us but no doubt some of those crazy bastards would enjoy the risk involved bringing in supplies to Pinnacle or where ever we need them. This has the added benefit of taking the heat off of us for bringing in supplies. My people aren't smugglers either, but we know our way around a transport, so we'll do what we can.

Please advise. We're not mechanics or technicians but we can get it operational enough to fly to a drydock or shipyard somewhere for a quick and dirty overhaul.

I ask you and others to be.. wary of involving Kusari.

As.. living proof of the nature of Kusari's demons, do not trust them as far as you can see with your own eyes. They see you as useful idiots, as they did me.

I'm not leaning in on that judgement - I know my fellow Zoners and many of those on this net are smarter than the average Liberty grunt, but don't give away that you can see through their facade. Exploit them for whatever you can get.

As for.. logistics and operations, we have a base in the works in the Tau corridor as we speak, that will lay host to a shipyard. I will notify this net once it is completed. It is a ways from here yes, but, something is better than nothing. I also will be dispatching the OTV Murakami to complement the Murasaki. I will personally see to it that the next convoy is supported by Ouroboros vessels.

Ladies, gentlemen and everything in-between, I'm a concerned citizen currently in charge of a humble group of volunteers from a Q-Ship-class operating in Pennsylvania, and we're here to stay if everything goes according to plan.

Formalities out of the way I have some trivia I'd like to discuss with my fellow colleagues from the Zoner circles, one is the fact that apparently the DSE, or some other corporate vultures from Liberty, or equally unwelcome parties seem to be funding some private ventures to do the heavy lifting on their behalf in Pennsylvania. What does that mean? We're seeing a bunch of alleged "independent miners" or "freelancer miners" harvesting heavy water and shipping it back to companies legally registered in Erie. Why do I think they're House cheaters? Because they're working for legal groups and they seem to be opinionated or at least enough invested in these ventures to put their necks on the line, and refuse to make these shipments to Bethlehem instead of Erie. My take on them is that if we see any of these guys working for companies such as "Trepca" we'll do everyone a favor and put them to good use, if they refuse we'll gun them down to make example and let our colleagues or the Milford Xenos fly through the scrap to collect whatever's left, just like we'd do with DSE and the likes.

Dependent miners

That's one thing, the other's regarding certain folks hailing from Rheinland, these Platform guys are claiming they've spotted Order and LSF pilots engaged in combat against fellow Militants in the Independent Worlds, then refused to elaborate, maybe someone around here should tell them to keep their mouth shut in the field about stuff like this, specially if they're unwilling to disclose or back these claims with evidence. Other than that nothing more to add, beyond the fact that I envy how they can afford deploying their flagship and multiple capitals so far away from home to help on this line, things must be going great back in Rheinland despite the whole Kaiser degeneracy, I do wonder what their buddies think about this stunt back home.

Our forces unilaterally condemn the use of lethal force against innocent civilians without utilization of the principle of least force and other doctrines as outlined in the Inter-House Standard for Rules of Conflict. The only result of shooting at civilians, is going to be Liberty cracking down even further, with no equivalent relief of our forces by impacting their force projection and combat effectiveness, even if we don't take into account the blatant violation of inter-house war crime doctrine and treaties!

Furthermore, we can confirm that our forces aboard the OCS Skidbladnir were in contact with LSF and Order's 34th in the Coronado system in orbit of Planet Salina - engaging a squadron of snubcraft from their Tau element, and having sunk the LSS Indanapolis, as stated and shown by Locksmith in the prior transmission on this net.

Your blatant disregard for the agreed upon rules of engagement, disparagement of allied forces, and outright disrespect for human life of non-combatants is damning, and shows that you cannot be trusted to act in the best interests of Erie. You're no better than Michal Golanski after his nuclear saber-rattling years ago, threatening to turn all of Zoner Society in the Omicrons and Omegas to irradiated molten slag.

Either contribute to the cause in a fashion that is not detrimental, or get out of our way.
