![]() User ID: Blake, Esme Recipient: Xenos Alliance, Lovelace Circle Subject: Toronto . Cobra, I’m glad reasonable heads prevail. I take it, then, that you still desire the demands outlined by "Midian", as far as other steps to be taken in Ontario. I’ll address each.
1) Fort Ramsey’s Drydock
I’ll admit, having a proper drydock for Fort Ramsey, especially in helping to repair the Liberty Rose and other larger vessels for Ontario, would be ideal. I’d be willing to provide a number of materials towards that, though construction will be in the end at the purview of the Steel Circle. Just list what components would be exactly necessary towards it and I’ll see what can be done. 2) CTE Engine Components40.000 Engine Components could be made available to Fort Ramsey, considering the distance between there and Baltimore Shipyard - that’s altogether simple. Before such shipments start, though, I’d like clarity on the first point. As to these being conducted, however, I’d like to talk about what exactly the Liberty Free Republic desires as far as recompense and balance - to me, I have provided a fair enough offer. The Free Republic performs the same task as it would be needing to anyways, the removal of the Junkers in proximity to Toronto Station, and Bristol performs all necessary construction to bring the station back into service. With that, the Free Republic gains industry at a good pace, and a cash flow from outside your organization. Should you require more solid agreements as to the future conduct of Bristol C&M towards its employees, and towards the system as a whole, in Ontario, I’m sure we can come to that. I look forward to hearing back from you. V/R BLAKE, ESME CHIEF OF OPERATIONS, BRISTOL CONSTRUCTIONS & MANUFACTURING COMMANDING OFFICER, SAGGIATORE (IND-BRI00034-K834) Transmission Ends

Understand first and foremost that these are not demands concocted by Midian himself. They are terms reached by the Free Council--consider it a representative body of our greater movement. It sets nominal policy, and we are sworn to advance its interests for the sake of our people. As is to be expected, the Council rarely agrees on anything. I will be the first to admit, however, that the Council’s demands in this matter are… overzealous. Still, I believe their hearts are in the right place. Dog’s Day was an absolute abattoir--hundreds of men, and half that number again in ships, lost so that we can even have this conversation. As you can imagine, this has bred strong feelings. Especially when what you offer bears an uncomfortable resemblance to deals these men have heard before, from executives of every stripe. This is not a knock on you; it is simply teething from a people slow to trust and quick to feel threatened--justifiably so. I have appealed the matter regardless, and the Free Council has withdrawn its insistence on the second point. You need concern yourself only with the first: an investment in the burgeoning LFR defense complex would go a long way toward assuaging the worst of the paranoia. From this point, we can work forward. "Liberty or death." -"Cobra" ☠ Transmission signal lost. ![]() User ID: Blake, Esme Recipient: Xenos Alliance, Lovelace Circle Subject: Toronto . Cobra, Thank you for your honesty and brevity. Just name what materials Fort Ramsey and the Steel Circle are requiring towards the construction of that drydock, and we’ll see what exactly can be done on an immediate basis and what will be requiring more long term planning. I understand the concerns on making such deals, and that the mistrust that has been bred by the actions of others can only be dispelled by patience and given trust. I think though that the honesty of Bristol will be good in this matter. As a matter of good faith, I’ll also put forward this - Bristol has completed shipments towards the matter of the second point, expedited somewhat to fit a confined timetable. Your generosity has left the Council somewhat speechless--particularly after I had reprimanded them for their greed. I find myself both amused and impressed. Set out a plan of action, and we may proceed with the full sanction of the LFR. "Liberty or death." -"Cobra" ☠ Transmission signal lost. |
