You know this is Freelancer, and not EVE. You cannot 'tank' in freelancer. Nor can you use EVE terms in here. And finally, against NPCs? This ain't EVE, they are next to useless against players here.
Also, you know your EHP formula? Wrong. Armour upgrades do not add armour, they reduce the amoutn of damage you take. And as thus, you may 'seem' to have 2.5x armour, but you don't. And also, bots 'seem' to restore 2.5x their orginal, but they don't.

yeah, and in ASoD (a game im writing) you SEEM to move, but you dont. But your still able to travel. The EHP formula works fine in practicality. Besides, have you ever seen a battleship before? those things can tank using, you guessed it, PASSIVE SHIELD REGENERATION, a lot like the drake eh?

Battleships don't with shield regen, most of their damage absorbed isn't even in the shield. It's in the 4 million hull.

i was reffering to missions, watching those fighter swarms barely dent shields is impressive, and its shield tanking. Btw, you sure live up to your name Severe Trinity.

I dunno, but you should go read this. Also, I am sorry, i should have read over it more before suggesting the wikification. There are probably some useful and unique things in there though.
