ROC Civilian Bomber - DragonLancer - 06-26-2009

I can verify this bug.

The Roc will be displayed to the player as Order bomber when the watching player is also in an Order bomber:

While flying a BH or corsair bomber the Roc will be displayed correctly:

Huh, I thought this was already fixed? Or someone else worked on a fix? Alright, alright, I'll fix that. <.<

... i saw it only in delta where you can find these two ships together ... with my order bomber i see roc as order bomber sometimes .... and order bomber appears as roc sometimes ...

@I m rdy: No need for you to fix it. Its already done by Silent Assassin and me. The updated files were also already sent to Igiss for a future update. The former update didn't fix the cause.

Doom - this is know bug and we know what is causing it...it will be fixed if one of the small updates...

I thought this might be the case, most of the time the ROC looks as it should to other players, it is ok most of the time, I also notice an Order bomber looking like a ROC

@Hood: Roc and Sekhmet have the issue to be mixed serverside, because they share the same root mesh name. The game engine uses this name as a controller for skin and appearance. Thats why it has to be unique for each model. Hope you get the picture.

Well, that's kinda my fault, since I didn't know that the game mixes up models when the same root mesh name is used. I think the same applies to material names as well.

Anyway, I'm sorry for any inconvenience this bug has caused. Thanks, AoM and Silent for the fix.
