Aki needs a home - kikatsu - 06-30-2009 honestly I think the Council would be best the Royals already have the junker network The Council wants to open Gallia up to the rest of serious, they should gladly accept any information on serious threats to humanity, especially the Nomads They are jumping out into a fresh new world with little intel...an Order Database would provide unpresidented amounts of information, even the causal reports on trafic movement would help them out alot... but honestly, why are you limiting yourself to Gallia? just because no one there should know you? Aki needs a home - Pinko - 06-30-2009 You still could work in Bretonia against Kusari. And why not Rheinland? Aki needs a home - kikatsu - 06-30-2009 I really wish I knew exactly what happened with you and the Order, cause right now I am not totally sure about what happened between you two...other than the bad mojo going on Aki needs a home - Tenacity - 06-30-2009 @Turkish: You're insane, Liberty would turn my entire crew into POW's the first chance they got, they'd tear apart my ship for intel on The Order with or without my help. I'd be better off returning to the order and getting court martialed and executed than I would be trying to work with liberty. @Everyone else: Some solid points on the council... but when I entered gallia today they seemed nothing short of hostile to my ship, though granted I probably intimidated them a bit with such a large craft =P Still, chances are the council would try to drag aki into it's civil war, which is not something she'd be willing to do. Further, they might turn her in to the sirius factions in order to gain allegiances, and right now gallic unlawfuls outnumber gallic lawfuls like 6-1 =/ Both seem like open options at the moment, still... more input is needed before I decide. Currently as far as I can understand: Council/Maquis would try to use the ship in the war against the Crown, The Crown, doesn't know that this vessel is even in Gallia at the moment, and as our standards for Outsiders is pretty much "Blow it up." How is running rough shot across the entire sector until you decide the French are a good fit any better? Plus, you're assuming that Liberty is a totalitarian dictatorship without reason. Aki needs a home - tazuras - 06-30-2009 Yes, something about Ms. Kimura goes to Gallia strikes me as rather... unworkable, but that doesnt mean trying wont be fun. Aki needs a home - Magoo! - 06-30-2009 Yeah... See... Here's the problem How many Nomads are on the Western end of Sirius? How practical is it to hide, with the goal of hunting and killing all non-Humans, when the nearest source of said non-humans is on the EAST end of Sirius? i.e. Across the freakin' sector. I'm with Turkish, there are bound to be other alternatives. I mean, join Rheinland. You could make a point about keeping yourself independant of their command, you could still bust caps at Liberty (as they'd no doubt shoot you anyways) if a favor was needed, and you could hunt the Wilde. Marvelous! Aki needs a home - farmerman - 06-30-2009 ' Wrote:There are a few factors to take into consideration: What about one of the following? Unioners - No real connections with any of those groups and a dose of Order technology could do them well. They're shipyard workers so they could do maintenance. It works if you consider the Liberty/Rheinland situation nomad-related, too. Hessians - They hate the Wild and an ex-Order ship would be taunting the Corsairs, especially if it was kept aways away from the important fronts, like, say, Casablanca. Also close to the Wild menace. Mollys - Like the Hessians but without the Wild threat. Of course, it depends on if Aki sees the Kusari/Bretonia situation as nomad manipulated, too. IMG - Well, nothing fancy here, but Aland is confusingly big and seems able to support such a ship. And it'd help with the Wild situation. And mainly this one is more of them not having any issues. Gaians - If you supply them with some information acquired about nomads and their power generation technology, they may support you. There's an issue of the Corsairs finding out, of course. If she could convince them her fight is similar to theirs, though, there is the possibility of some interesting RP. Cryer - They can be shady. If Aki and co would be willing to let them study some of the destroyed nomad remains (under certain laboratory settings, I'm sure), that would be worth far more than a direct monetary reward. Atka is far enough away that they could hide out, though the closeness of the Hawaii could be an issue. Gallia-wise, only the Council really makes sense. All that other stuff about crazy aliens this and vicious possession that wouldn't exactly convince the royals, I'd think. Aki needs a home - tazuras - 06-30-2009 What about the zoners anyway? |
