RP potential is in that section but it isn't really used.
And when I sold that Outcast Destroyer I did so in perfect RP, and anyone who didn't answer in RP didn't get an answer from me. I'm still annoyed I had to sell it, I thought i'd like it but oh well.

It's a nice idea, and some Stock Exchange threads do stay in-character, but an awful lot of them don't make much sense from an IC point of view, or people don't even try. Making it OOC with optional IC would work well.

I think what is being sold is the problem,
military ships being sold like cars dealerships is rather bleh...
Now done like a black market thing where there is some secrets and such.
This just coincides with the idea the indies havin caps they don't have any check and balances, in my opinion. The connection between selling and indies owning ships is that it has little RP. And this point has been argued over and over over again.

all my posts in the stock exchange are in RP, and for some of the capital ship auctions, i treat it more as a bribe; i give said person alot of money, and get a nice promotion and command of a large ship.
but i will agree that it is getting out off hand.

That just makes me made okey I BUILT A RP STOCK MARKET AND THE ONLY REASON IT FAILED CAUSE I COULDN'T GET ANYONE TO HELP ME WORK ON IT
Not only that YOU deleted my stock exchange thread. I had important data on there that I won't ever get back i'm guessing. This just burns me. I did what was required for that forum section and got bull for kudos and now that proposal? Well ya better not complain to me when i put my SSME in the RP section.

The nation does. They can't sell it, or even decide who crews it. They just command it.

we all know this but we need to discuss the solution,
my suggestion is not granting the selling of military ships larger then Gunboats. Gunboats...are relatively big but still can get...stolen stealing anything much larger then that will get noticed really fast.
