I agree with this. And if anyone sees a Junker tagged and IDed lolwutting pirate , RP him as a fake Junker who stole a transponder and blast him. Thats what I do.

That's not the answer either, sadly.

See, thing is that hitting people with a stick wont solve anything. They will do it again. Now, if you'd brake a finger or two and leave a lovely wound to remind of WHY they are punished, now that would work.

People just need to use their goddamn common sence and think about the person on the other side for once.

Like right now my BBless nombomber got ganked by triple missile welding IMG ships..

So I flew away...frak that, I still get pissed if I lose my CMs in the first damn pass...

Then the idea is, punish them. Not really.

See, restrictions, so far, have proven to be COMPLETELY worthless...You cannot give a rule to every occasion..like how many missiles can you mount or how many pirates you can have on a lane....

More rules =/= make order.

Revolutionaries still wouldn't harm civilians. All they care about are political targets--- plus, they want the people on their side.

Pirates want to get credits cheaply, and all are (sorry to say) Cowards. They'll flee in front of an LPI patriot, leaving the transport behind.

Terrorists do whatever they need to to achieve their goal. They Create fear in the people, because they kill you for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Pirates only attack civilians. (Corporations/Freelancers)
Revolutionarists attack their Government (Police/Military/Supply convoys).
Terrorists do whatever they want.

If you want to destroy lawful fleets, you should join a revolutionarist movement, not get a Hacker Spyglass and camp Manhattan.

/2 cents

Ofcourse pirates are cowards..ofcourse they should flee when so much as a LN ided starflea jumps out of the lane...noone does really.

Well, if they're really <that> bad, then do something about it, take screens show them to the admins under the 1.2 rule
1.2 Server administrators will impose sanctions on players for violating server rules and for any actions that harm server gameplay.
Because, as you stated before, there's not much else that you can do with them if they don' break rules.

On that note: Join the SCRA! We're the anti-lolwutters, and we don't shoot civilians. Also, made of awesome.

Maybe I do you wrong Sindroms, because I dont remember who exactly you are ingame, but I think those pirate GBs are following your/the LR example.
For months, you had rogue GBs terrorising Liberty and traders. THat wasnt pirating, that was an army of terrorists shooting down lawfuls. One incident I heard about was 4 LR GBs + some bombers stopping a trader who had 0 money, 0 cargo, 0 guns, and only a sanction notice in his hold. Rogues blew him up after a 'hostage situation' had allowed them to attract a massive LN fleet for a nice big fight.

Dunno if you are part of it, but thats what happens pretty much every time you see a LR somehwere. Always GBs, never alone.

Now, for the defense of the indy pirate GB (which Im not a part of). They are wrong to form unbeatable fleets, but:

Only ship I pirate on is a lonley sabre with CD. I regularly have to blow up traders although I dont want to, because they never take me seriously. Have to blow them up like 70% of the time because they think they can run.

And... you can start a massive lawful/unlawful battle in NY without wanting it... I did once. 2 LSF try to arrest me while Im pirating, but cant pvp for sh*t. I kill one, the other keeps running on thruster to hide near Missouri. I can understand that... if he fled he couldnt help uphold the law for the next 4 hours. I cant disengage because htat would mean I cant re-enter NY for 4 hours... its a stalemate. So I keep trying, more and more LPI/LSF come in, when its 4 lawfuls including cap ships, a whole damn fleet of pirates (one LH dreadnought... first time I saw one) comes to 'help' without me wanting it.

Rules that may fix these things from happening: no enemy ships bigger than GBs in 'capital systems' like NY, London, Tokyo except for announced evetns or oorp permission from lawfuls. You can write that rule into the ap ship description so everyone knws about it.
And: possibly a rule that allows lawful characters of official factions like LN and LPI to respawn on another lawful charcter in their 'capital' systems after they die, so rule of law doesnt completely break down.

Stop putting handcanon bullets on every aplicants face then.

Also , the SCRA are not my style. Not bastard-ish enough.

Not bastard-ish enough? When I was in the SCRA, before I became a professional recluse, it was the meanest gig out there, and from what I've seen, they're fairly similar now.
