You gentlemen weren't kidding about Outcast use of some very large ships. Last night Highland Security sent out a small group of two bombers and a very heavy fighter to intercept and disrupt smuggling and slave-running operations in the Tau's. After a fairly successful operation, we decided a reconnaissance into Alpha would be worthwhile. Much to the dismay of the Outcasts, this was successful. As we returned to Tau-37 and stopped a cardamine smuggler, we were surprised to see the MNS-Cassus.Belli pursuing us. Realizing that we wouldn't do much but be targets in open space against a ship that large, we retreated into Tau-23. The Cassus Belli chased us into Tau-23, and when he could not follow us into the asteroid fields, took out his frustration on Java station, shelling it from a distance. This cannot be tolerated.

I'm starting to lose track of how many massive ships the Outcasts throw at us as we step up our anti-smuggling operations. No sooner had we stopped a smuggler, Solar_Eclipse, in Tau-37, than the MNS-Enterprise sauntered out of the nearby Freeport to ruin our day.
A mere 10k away from the Enterprise, the Eclipse tried to do a runner - wrong move. We took him out before the Enterprise could do anything to stop us.
My two other wing members escaped with no trouble, but I almost had a nasty run in with a very persistent Outcast cap. I say almost, because despite chasing me 60 klicks through open space, he only scored a few licks on my shield before giving up.
