Ok, I spoke to Haddow over skype and it either looks like it is going to be really hard to set a date for everyone or rather short notice..
My first thoughts was to do this saturday week (1st Aug), but Haddow is only able to make it on the Friday that week, which I myself can't come to because of my work.. ><"
I guess what I should ask is, can everyone come if I set the date to this Saturday?? It's only a few days away which I cringe at, but if that's when all of us can get together then it'll be fine.
Ian, I'd say to bring your transport at the moment as I haven't heard from Gateway at all in relation to this but I know that there's a chance of Mobius squad coming. Seth, I know there's a chance you can't make it even if it's right in the times you said, but if you can a fighter's fine. If there ends up too many transports there I'm preparing to be one of the first to change out and enter a fighter myself. Jazz, You know we'd be happy to help you start up another character during this. I'm not sure if repping is needed anymore from what I've heard about ID changes and such, but It'll keep our fighter's out of boredom.:)
To everyone else, thanks for posting. I know this came out of the blue but I beleive this will be nothing but positive for us. My eventual plans for this is to become a sort of reuccurring biweekly (perhaps weekly) event, probly held on alternating days so that all members are able to come to at least one event a month. But until then lets do small steps in terms of focusing on just this one, and then afterwards organsie the next.

Honestly, I don't see any reason why non-IMG|, but IMG IDed miners can't tag along as well and mine sortof just outside the group(s) or something.. Defense in numbers and heh, potential recruits.:D

I believe I'll be available all afternoon this Saturday if no one at work mangles their arm or something and I'm not asked to come in. That works out to about 18:00 GMT Saturday through 2 or 3-ish GMT Sunday, though that's technically pushing Sunday afternoon down in Australia...

3am GMT for me is 1pm, and I have an afternoon work shift starting at 2pm on the Sunday. Since most IMGers are in the UK I doubt we'd be holding it into the early morning for you guys, and hence I should not have any problem with work and stuff..
Likewise, your Sunday nights are my Monday mornings, which I do the majority of my weeks work hours in an early morning shift. There's no way of me being able to come on a GMT Sunday night..
Seeing how most people can do any time and don't seem to be overly fussed about the late notice, I'm inclined to lock in holding the event for this Saturday (25th July) night rather than next week so that Haddow can come. I might change that if a lot of members come up and say they can't make it though..
I hope this is going to be doable for Mobious - I'm not really sure what timezone you guys are in or what. It's alright If you guys join us later on (or leave early) though.:)
..Soo Saturday the 25th, from 18:00GMT to.. whenever things fizzle out (I expect 23:00-24:00GMT). All good? Good. I hope to see everyone there then.

Erm, the only IMG i got is my exploring spatial, but i guess i can act as a defensive unit...or..just sit around and talk while the miners blast rocks..about the time...
If its monday-friday(cept thursday) i can be online from 17.30 (5.30 pm) to...0.00 (midnight), but i can be online all day saturday/sunday and thursday...yup, and about the place...I dont give a damn :cool:
I hope this event works out, i can barely see any IMG on..doesnt make me want to log my char..
