You are doing an excellent job! I like the Corsair look and feel. Make it bulkier and you may just have it.
BTW how do you extract the textures? Just photoshp, or do you need a plugin?

Hehe, still looks starwars like. but you're close.
Suggestion:
Take the forward (bow) tips of those 'wings' and pull them back and to the sides (it would look similar to a paraglider or a single wing - I'm shooting for a design similar to the Legionaire, a huge flying wing).
IMHO it would work perfectly as a Corsair design. It will also look scary.

More tinkering, well the polys have shot up, hmm loots a lot bigger now (the first pic is a close up of the bridge), i know someone asked what program i use and its gmax with a plugin to allow me to use Yafray to render images( dont ask me for it the site i got it off of has gone down)

It still looks like Star Wars, i could barely pass as a BHG design. If you please just try my suggestion, see how it looks. You don't have to post it here, just try. I'm sure it's going to be awesome.
