Did someone mention that you should read the ID?

No?

Read the ID. Go on. You know you want to.

Not to mention that you'll never, ever, ever be able to take out a competent fighter or bomber pilot in that battleship of yours, which, when all's said and done, is less useful than a weasel in a cardboard shirt.

and to top it off, it`s just not done to attack small stuff in a BS. if they disrupt you, try to rp your way out of it. it sometimes works when you meet proper players.

otherwise, you can fight back, but I`d say: consentrate on "fleeing".

BS are good with support and open up some extremely entertaining RP. Alone they are a target and seem to resemble a rather heavy set individual with the agility of a rock trying to swat a fly.

Agreed with everything.

Even if they DO attack you, it would be best not to fire back.

If i owned a BountyHunter BS with a Core Id/IFF etc and i was passing through the omegas and Tl get disrupted by lets say the good old OPG and its maybe a GB or a bomber etc if i wasn't sure they had a bounty on there heads could i engage anyway as they are my enermys?? Also could i go to the Houses and help if needed to defend off pirates as we all know and if not soon will that there are times were Pirates just come in hords one night and its ends up with 24 pirates all in Liberty....? Could i not help out?

And finally if i has in my BS and i met a Fighter with a bounty on his head could i not kill him to collect it or do i also need to be in a fighter?

Checks ship roster: Oh, lookie, I do have at my command disposal a Mako Battleship.

Checks ID: Hmmm - cap ships can't collect bounties unless they're up against - another cap ship. And - since I'm the one that is currently maintaining the Bounty Board for the Outer Worlds - I can categorically state that on that board, there are NO Bounties payable TO cap ships. Core ID'd cap ships are part of the 'Bounty Hunter Military' - you're already getting paid for doing your job.

Checks ID again: Oh, look - Cruisers and Battleships (which also includes Destroyers, for you pickers of nits out there) can ONLY OPERATE in the Omicrons - Sigmas - Omegas. Hmmm - I don't happen to see Liberty in there anywhere? Maybe because you're RESTRICTED from going there? There recently was A (single, solitary) player who had to go into Liberty to pick up some stuff from an armory ship. He posted on the forum, he made sure everyone knew that he was only going in there to get some stuff, he went in, he got his stuff, and he got back out. So no - not only can you NOT help out - you shouldn't even be there in the first place.

I will give you one thing - if that happened to be an Order fighter that dropped the trade lane, or the OPG fighter, upon scanning him, happened to have some Order technology on him - THEN you can blast away (quite uselessly, I might add) at him. Otherwise - you're in a Battleship, for craps sake. It's ONE fighter - there's a reason WHY this is an RP server and not a PvP server. Role Play with the poor schmuck. It's not like you're actually (unless he's a REALLY poor pilot) going to hit him more than twice anyway.

You might also make a note that, with my post, that's now FOUR of the BHG| Guildmasters that have chimed in on this. All of whom are saying the same damn thing, albeit not quite as loquaciously.

Two bomber and your entire lone BS out eevn if you would be able to collect bounty's in it. And dotn worry OPG would really get two bombers in less then 5 minutes.

If anyone attacks a player one should always fire back.....while watching the scanner, of course.

So... If a starflier... actually, maybe I won't make that so big a jump...

If a titan started firing at your bh battleship, would you blow it up? As in... 1 titan... and make it a loltitan, because seriously, only loltitans attack bhbses... without backup.
