The wall in major, there is the SP campaign nomade gate thing there, people are saying you can get to the dyson sphere omicron major using a glitch? Please tell? There is nothing in omicron major, I just like its scenery and i want to see the nomad city again. How do you get into the Lair in Omicron 92? Freelancer companion shows there are two omicron 92's

But in reality, I have always wondered that myself. Got disappointed when I visited there and got shot down by a fleet of nomads.

What sort of work, exactly, would have to be done to the dyson sphere to deem it 'ready' for rp?

The "systems" would need to display the sphere in ruined state, with wreck "asteroid" fields around, radiation of varying degrees in various areas, anomalies. With Nomads gone there hadn't been anyone one to maintain the place and keep it running for all these years. Order may have "kept an eye" on it but has eventually turned to other matters as evidenced by all the roleplay made in years. The place was abandoned, forgotten as a result of nobody doing anything about it, in both senses of inRP and ooRP. It isn't some base or a planet, it's a K2 class structure of such size and completely alien. Premature opening of hypergate, energy grid malfunction destabilization and so forth have all caused irreversible destruction and collapse. To make that all reflected in game would require a lot of effort and time put into. I did some basic work on it approximately a year ago, but eventually abandoned for personal reasons, however I intend to release the content as a stand-alone mod allowing any other third-party to incorporate it into any mod.

In 92, I'm pretty sure that either 1: its unfinished and not attached (like bastille) or 2: a nomad only thing. leaning toward 1.
as for the sphere, in late stages of 85 development, the jumpholes into the dyson sphere (there were 2) were removed from the game.
