Your opinion on activity... - Klaw117 - 08-28-2009 This is actually a very well thought out post. Reavengitair makes a good point. While all the lolwutters are annoying as hell, they do contribute to the Discovery Server, albeit in a very strange way. I voted activity of lolwutters because over time, they will become decent RPers or just leave. You lose in all points then. Luckily some manage to become RPers. Your opinion on activity... - atlantis2112 - 08-28-2009 At least you can shoot lolwuts:) Only NPCs in an empty server.. Your opinion on activity... - reavengitair - 08-29-2009 Ok, so the way I see things now, More people can tolerate OORPers because they know that they can learn and become a great member of discover than those who cannot tolerate them and want them off the server. But then, its all your opinion. Which is what this poll was for. For the record: I voted option one... Your opinion on activity... - Sprolf - 08-29-2009 I'd rather have a more empty server than one full of lolwutters. Remember when people complain about how strict rules have gotten? Ever heard them wax eloquent about the "good old day" when there were fifty people on the server? Choking rules were added because of lolwutters. Back in the day when less people were on the server, there was a vast majority of good RPers. And people thought things were a lot better back then. Must have been for some reason, eh? Your opinion on activity... - Cellulanus - 08-29-2009 Personally, I prefer the company of NPCs now. At least they never break RP. (Unless a dev somewhere was being stupid) Your opinion on activity... - sean24 - 08-29-2009 I think lolwuts are a neccesity on the server. I like entering a battle facing 4 or 5 lolwut corsair BS's in a fighter. They spice up the battle. As long as they dont chat, its ok. EDIT: And by neccistiy I dont mean I love them and I couldn't live without them I mean the server wouldn't able to be as good as it is. Your opinion on activity... - reavengitair - 08-29-2009 Right now, I'm seeing a pattern. Most of the older bunch seem to dislike noobies... Most of the bunch that havn't been here so long, don't mind them around. Your opinion on activity... - Sprolf - 08-29-2009 ' Wrote:I think lolwuts are a neccesity on the server. Or if you somehow wrong them they start swearing and then jump onto the Zoner Juggernaut parked nearby to delivered divine retribution. Need I continue? I'm talking about new players. They can go screw themselves, I'm more talking about... Independant liberty navy gunboat captains (stereotyping, don't get offended...) which there are Plenty of in my opinion. I'm talking about those who can RP... to an extent but need help. The kind that put emoticons in their speech. The kind that can't RP a capship. The kind who might lolwut a bit, but DON'T do idiotic things: reengaging, swearing, spamming, etc. Basically, me... to an extent. The kind of people you see in NY alot who don't spam swear and re-engage. But of course, it all depends on your point of view on the poll. Thats my point of view, but of course, it also covers the bad kind. |
