You dont need to join the BHG|Core- player faction to use the core ID, but you must use it for any (independant?) BHG caps.

Right I know the rest, just that can I engage all pirates and stuff WITHOUT bounty with normal ID?

Can trade and escort traders,
Can hunt pirates and terrorists across Sirius,
Can demand cargo or credits from ships carrying contraband and destroy them if they refuse to comply,

These 3 lines.
I get to escort my trader friends, I get to hunt pirates with or without bounty on them, I get to demand cargo from those druggies. Fun.

And who said anything about player faction? I'm interested in joining them but not really. If they are as stuck up as liberty navy, no thanks.

So I don't care if I don't get to take my capship (besides my gunboat) anywhere, so long as I can fly it around and shoot order and nomad stuff. And so long as my non core IDed gunboat can go around killzoring and demanding stuff, I'm happy.

Question is do I get to demand credits to let pirates WITHOUT cargo go? Or do I just finish their sorry butts anyway?

Methinks I've finally found THE faction for me, even if it doesn't allow me to bring anything bigger than a prison liner around (believe still more powerful than gunboat)

The way i see it, if you can not collect bounties with the vessel in question then it should be used for defensive of raid purposes.

You cant go around 'killzoring' anything in any ship with either hunter or core ID, there must always be a posted bounty unless you are in a core IDed ship and the enemy is the nomads or order (or their respective allies, i.e corsairs and wilde).

The core id also restricts house systems and such.

I think that fact has been hammered into every hunters head to the extent that it is causing brain dammage.

Hunting other players without a bounty is PvP abuse and breaking server rules, and that rule itself is a direct consequence of people abusing the BHG ID in the past.

No.

As the wise and powerful Athenian has stated, if you attack pirates as a Hunter without a bounty (or a fake bounty to justify killing stuff) you're open for a PvP abuse sanction.

Discovery doesn't have any lawful faction (Zoners aren't lawful) that can fly capital ships anywhere in Sirius. Discovery certainly doesn't have any lawful faction that can hunt pirates in capital ships anywhere in Sirius.

I'd recommend compromising on your search for a faction - limit the ship you want to fly (downgrading from a battleship opens a lot of windows) or downsize the ZoI (because no-one has the ZoI you're looking for).
