I ran W7 on a single gb of RAM for a time. It was slow, but it ran. The same cannot be said about Vista.

I wanted to know. My CPU cannot virtualize other OS (not VT). Will it still be possible for me to run games on Win7 like FL, Command and Conquers General, Act of War, Titan Quest, Battlefield2 and Guild wars?

Yeah, just run in XP mode.
FL I know to work native, even.
Also, ELMS is win. Nabbed myself Vista Business, Server 2k3 Enterprise, XP Pro, Win7 32 & 64bit versions, Visual Studio 2008 Pro...Love ELMS...

It should run all these just fine. I've had the RC running for about 6mo now as my primary OS. Never once has a problem with FL, D2LOD, or any other older titles that I run. M$ seemed to have realized they dropped the ball hard on Vista and is coming out with a bugfix for it, which is pretty much what Win7 is.
Think Win95 -> Win98. Same Idea.
(Now I know some of you don't remember Win95 as you're too young. Do your homework)
