RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Tovig - 09-21-2009 Nice ship but.. A part being a SNAC magnet, what is his utility.. ? Even in Role Play... Can't get it. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Drake - 09-21-2009 This might be a good ship to go the 'blockade runner' route I mentioned in another thread... Higher thrust speed, dual-CMs. If it was originally meant to be a troop transport, those troops have to get to their destination quickly and safely, and often through a warzone. I like the look of it. In the past I've considered getting a Bumblebee, but I don't like the look of it, and there aren't really any other transports very similar to it. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Cyberanson - 09-21-2009 Yes Drake. The final loadout needs to be adjusted in my opinion. You proposal is very good. Some combined transport and boarding vessel would be great. Maybe even some operational craft for the MND, searching for smugglers or embargo runners deep within the asteroid fields and raiding their ships with the troops. CD is mounted already and the ship is agile... can be compared to the Rheinland gunboat. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Doom - 09-21-2009 ' Wrote:Nice ship but.. Its agile enough to keep up with bomber and with 50k transport shield that regens faster then SN its hard to be killed by sole bomber. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Benjamin - 09-21-2009 Yeah, I vote macho-ing it up somewhat, throwing some more turrets on there or something to get it in that 'support' role or what have you, since I am guessing it would be involved in whatever the space version of a 'beachhead' is? But yeah it's a good model. I wouldn't even mind it being lawful only, since it would be the sleek and functional partner to the curved and whimsical (satellite dish) behemoth for all the romantic unlawfuls. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - FroMcJoe - 09-22-2009 Looks great! I'm glad that you've installed the big doors in the front and bottom that i suggested:) RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Exsiled_one - 09-22-2009 Hmhm. Possibly 2 more guns would do great. It is Reinhald after all, firepower and all that. I'm glad it has a CD, and a CM ofc. Great support ship for RM military, great ship for hijack it and have it as unlawful. I don't know the size of it sadly, but i wouldn't mind a bit bulky transport with enough cargo as his bigger brother. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Xing - 09-25-2009 It looks plain and boring, despite being a model of good quality. Rheinland already has a combat freighter as well, which could arguably serve this role, so the ship isn't exactly necessary. Also, I think it looks a bit small... RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Denelo - 09-26-2009 I have to disagree with Xing. It is neither plain nor boring. In a way it reminds me of the Rheinland battleship. It might be interesting to have this as sort of a lawful Rheinland version of the PTrans, and thus with nine guns. If it's to be a troop transport and more importantly a boarding craft, it'd need combat viability for sure, and the pirate transport style would certainly provide that. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Sarawr!? - 09-26-2009 I like it Ven, really suits the Rheinland theme, heck, if ever I were to make a Rheinland indie I'd probably put myself in one of those, if only to RP it as a landing/boarding ship, because that would be really fun RP I think. But anyways! as I said I think it looks really good and fits the Rheinland theme well. Nice work. :3 |
