Liberty nearly killed me, so I went to Kusari. - Exsiled_one - 09-23-2009 I'm there with a farmer from time to time, when space totally empties in Omegas. Usually people run blockade runs or bring gold from Doublin so that gets nipped out. Others... Well that just depends. There ya go. But he's right, moar tensions in Kusari space. Liberty nearly killed me, so I went to Kusari. - Tenacity - 09-23-2009 I just find it overly difficult to pirate in my hogosha VHF, and I dont want to switch ships >.> Liberty nearly killed me, so I went to Kusari. - pipboy - 09-23-2009 ' Wrote:Kusari pirates are far between, but they are either lolwutters or exceedingly brutal. Look at the dragons for instance, you get one, don't expect to even break even on that route. Less yeah but much much more damaging.I'm sorry, I shouldn't, but I'm saying it: You do realize that every pirate in Discovery is going to be twice as brutal with you than they are with any other player in game... On another note, Kusari RP is pretty hardcore. It's complicated and it honestly scares a lot of people away. The other issue is a lack of true unlawfuls. Kusari is pretty unique in that aspect. Our only "true" unlawfuls are Bretonians (the privateers and such) and a handful of Outcasts. That in itself complicates things a lot. The closest thing I can think of to an unlawful Kusari faction are the GC. The Blood Dragons are not unlawful, they are very lawful - it's just that their laws oppose the government's laws. The Hogosha are not really pirates, and when they do stop people there is very little the government can do about it, as long as the Hogosha RP things correctly that is. The Hogosha care mostly about power, money, and influence. Piracy is not always the best way of gaining those objectives. The Farmers are more direct, more of what you could call a "pirate". However even they don't just hit everyone they see without limitation. They're more terrorists than pirates, they're idealistic. They have their goals for Kusari and they don't strike unless it furthers those goals. I could go on all night, but like I said - Kusari RP is complicated and I'm too tired right now. Some of the lack of activity is just due to the normal players taking breaks right now. These things go in cycles, people get bored and play other characters or other games and come back later. For those that say Kusari is dead, well... You're just dead wrong. Kusari has a VERY steady stream of traders, there is always action to be found there. In fact I would say it's second to Liberty for activity, among the Houses at least. Unlike Bretonia and Rheinland, Kusari doesn't really have dead core systems. There is traffic through all of them - Kyushu, New Tokyo, Honshu, Shikoku - they all have steady traffic. That also makes things a little more difficult for pirates as it's hard to watch all of Kusari at once. You just cant be in every place all the time. For Bretonia or Rheinland a pirate can just sit in Leeds or Hamburg and be sure that he will get action since those are the only really steadily busy systems. Anywho, I'm off to bed. I'm tired. I'll work on being more active on my Kusari characters. If we can rally the BDS and AFA I can promise that you won't have safe trips through Kusari at all. There are plenty of "pirates" around. Honestly I think you're just missing us due to time zones or the like. Liberty nearly killed me, so I went to Kusari. - pipboy - 09-23-2009 ' Wrote:Well the blood dragons are deadly. You get hit by one you wish you get hit by a lolwutter pirate instead or 10 normal ones. Its GG if you meet a BD is all I can say. They will NOT negotiate, or so far thats my experience with them. They dont want anything passing through kusari... is it good rp or just an excuse to blow stuff up is debatable. I've heard people say both.Sorry for the double post but you edited your original. Yes it's good RP, read up on the Blood Dragons. And no they won't negotiate, like I said before they are a lawful faction. They have laws and guidelines and they follow them. It just so happens that their laws conflict with the KNF's laws. Does that make them wrong? No not really, not if you look at things from a broader point of view. The KNF won't negotiate with a smuggler that they catch, well the Blood Dragons have the same point of view with anyone trading with current Kusari government. Decent RP as well. Liberty nearly killed me, so I went to Kusari. - ... kur nubÄ—go? - 09-23-2009 Well I do not fly in Kusari a lot, but from waht I've seen Kusari is quite rich in traders. A lot of people goes trough Kyushu atleast. And Tenacity.. Best ship for pirating in Kusari IMO would be Raba transport .. No-one says you msut get rid of black dragon. All in all it looks awsome. Liberty nearly killed me, so I went to Kusari. - Exsiled_one - 09-23-2009 Raba is really no match for a pirate transport. There's really no use of that big armor and power when you can't store what you blew up from trader. In my opinion, we need more pirate transport - like ships for all houses. Liberty nearly killed me, so I went to Kusari. - Varyag - 09-23-2009 P-trans is brutal. A different point that was brought up is the complexity of Kusari, I totally agree. The other houses are pretty strait forward in comparison. I different issue with me and probly others is I have a hard time relating to it so it really doesn't hold that kind of value. Liberty and Rheinland are right in my zone. Why I like them. Bret, well it gets slow pretty quick. Liberty nearly killed me, so I went to Kusari. - Cyberanson - 09-23-2009 When I need money, I normally trade with my ALG ships. That means: good to Kusari and back, or to the IMG in the Taus. AFA already hates us, because we are more then a match in our Movers. All in all Kusari offers quite some profits. What the hell are you talking about. We will do nothing to stop you if you are passing through. Its actually OORP for us to be allowing cargo to travel to the Kusari Empire in the first place. Don't do that route! By no traders in kusari - you mean nova. ADDRESS THEM AS SUCH! DO NOT GET THEM CONFUSED WITH THE BLOOD DRAGONS! |
