As for screwing... well, that's the purpose of updates. To screw things.
We're really exhausted at this point, so we'll probably not be available to reply (and to fight back the accusations) for some time. Please be patient if something goes wrong.
Right now, the automatic update should already be working btw, but updating the server itself will take some time.
And, once again: server owners. If you read me, update your servers, all of them! All Discovery clients will be updated, so you won't be able to avoid this. Unless you instruct your players not to update.
GoodOldEurope and one more new Disco server got lucky to be included into the new dsupdate.cfg version, by the way. Berlin server got its IP updated.

i'm keen to see the new trade routes and mining, thanks tons for this.
cant see the server now that i've updated though, that's a bit of a problem, used the manual instructions and followed them by the letter, but i look forward to playing when i do fix it.:)
edit: oh and the transport turret idea looks sweet
