The New Traderoutes only high profits - Quorg - 10-06-2009 ' Wrote:Well, the new update nerfed my route. Probably because it was a 3 Jumps back and forth route doing an average profit. We'll make about 1/8 more than we did before. But it's an improvement, so you won't catch Ageira complaining. The New Traderoutes only high profits - Friday - 10-07-2009 Use FL companion - but remember it doesnt factor in trade lane disruptions, NPC attacks, or the relative abundance of pirates in a system. Also be sure to check the cargo value of the commodity you are hauling! The New Traderoutes only high profits - Thurgret - 10-07-2009 To work out how good a route is, I open up FL companion and... Flick through bases I might start a run out of. Take a closer look at anything which is above 6k credits per second (for my transport. That's roughly 22 million credits per hour). See what the base that run would go to would sell, or any nearby bases - dry runs aren't completely out of the question if necessary. Repeat for a few more bases. I give preference to places where pirate activity is low, or where the pirates make things enjoyable - Rheinland has recently become a favourite for me, since I've yet to see '2 million or die'. Anything at all going through California is a big no-no. Also, keep in mind, like Friday said, the cargo value. Gold, for example, is high-risk stuff. A full hold might cost 2 million credits or more. Sure, it's also high-profit, but I'd advise against loading anything but a container transport or freighter with it. Heheheh. Heheheheheh. *bursts into uncontrollable heh-ing* Companion doesn't work anymore. (It only LOOKS like it does) The New Traderoutes only high profits - Michael Trenton - 10-07-2009 Universal Shipping was ignored, but we're not complaining. All of our routes have improved like Ageira said and now we can create a TON more. Hopefully gain some new trading contracts *scratches his head* For those Libertonians who are having a hard time with discovering new routes. Here is an oldie-but-goodie: *Flips through some pages*
