Now that's a challenge. As I said I won't use Kusari Dessie or BHG Dessie who's primary goal is to blast GBs, but a Rheinland Cruiser.

In 4.84 we could easily kill OC dessies with Corsair Toolboxes 1v1 or 2v2. We wouldn't even spend nanos. Now in 4.85 it's almost impossible to kill experienced dessie pilot. I blame turret range mostly for that. If it was increased on gbs... that would rock:D

thats sounds like quite a fair fight. - rheinland cruiser ( which isn t really the largest - but has a reputation to be large ) - and the smallest gunboat that ll need like 5 years to even drain the shields of the cruiser.
would be worth watching - you should sell tickets... at 10credits / seat
* oh - and i am convinced that a destroyer pilot with a good aim can vaporize any gunboat. - the gunboat needs to be lucky many many times to inflict critical damage. - the cruiser just needs to be lucky maybe 2 times ( hitting a GB with a heavy weapon )
the damage increase in weapons is tremendous for the cruiser class. - gunboats deal with small ships - which reflects in their weapondamage. - cruisers are build to deal with things much larger ( when it comes to hitpoints... MUCH larger ) than them. one mistake - and a double mortar or a missile at the wrong time - and the gunboat is history.

I know for a fact that the scorpion gb and keeper gunboat are both capable of soloing cruisers. Course, that could be due to the fact that the nomad gunboat turrets do as much damage as my order cruiser primaries, plus that the keeper gb has a forward gun.
