Four hour rule is now two hour rule. - Zapp - 10-20-2009 Thing is, once you die in a system you're not allowed back in there until the time (2 hours now) is up, regardless if the person/people who killed you is/are still there. Sure, you probably won't get sanctioned for it if the entire population of that system changes in the two hours and you go back, but it's still not allowed. Now if you run/dock and manage to flee, you can go back if they leave the system before the time is up. Anyways. If you play for hours like that at a time where you can count the four hours out, there may be some other problems besides this going on... Like switching to a powertrader char and pass that four hours. Harhar. Four hour rule is now two hour rule. - Barrier - 10-20-2009 ' Wrote:Anyways. Good thing I don't have that problem. 2 hours is my whole playing time  I personally don't think it will do any bad things (since all those who are infected with space madness probably sit glued to the screen "From Dusk 'till Dawn") What it will do though is shorten the gap between RPing. I always thought it was allowed so long as no-one in the party involved was still there. Oh dear, means I've put myself at risk quite a few times now.... Hmm, should go freshen up on the rules. If someone is giving you a hard time during a long playing session, well, you beat them the first time, show them whose boss a second, third, fourth time. Make them fear your name. Four hour rule is now two hour rule. - Agmen of Eladesor - 10-20-2009 ' Wrote:Firstly, Rheinland Engineers CAN build it in 2 hours! This is incorrect. Quote:[color=#ffff33]5.7 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not enter the system where the fight took place with any of the characters on his/her account(s) until two hours have passed from the time of his/her destruction. Transports/Freighters/Liners which have been killed in a PvP fight may return to the system in which they were destroyed but only for purposes of moving through the system or for trade within that system. They may only act in a purely defensive manner and may not resume acts of piracy. 5.8 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not attack the enemy (player or players involved in the death) with any of the characters on his/her account(s) for 2 hours. 5.9 Self-killing during a PvP fight is counted as a normal PvP death. Y'all need to pay attention when the rules change. You die - you stay OUT of the system with ALL of your characters (that aren't traders that are trading). Its not about the Hours you stay out... its about how you treat each other.. if you kill someone and going to log out.. or just want to be nice PM him that he can come back.. or even stay (yes he is not allowed to engage you and should not) But some nice gestures go long way in making this server more friendly. This would definitely prevent people from coming back until their ship was rebuilt. |
